Operating lever with ratchet lock
The invention relates to an actuating lever with a ratchet lock and a pulling element, in particular a pulling cable, for remote control.
The invention aims to achieve the object of providing an operating lever with a ratchet lock, e.g. B. a braking device to operate over a certain distance in a simple manner. This task occurs z. B. in agricultural machines, where it is often desirable to be able to operate a handbrake lever arranged on the trailer from the tractor.
This is achieved according to the invention in that one end of the pulling element, which is led back to the operator's remote standing position and to the actuating lever, is connected to the actuating lever immediately near its handle and the other end is connected to a trigger coupled to the ratchet lock, and the ratchet lock is connected to a pull rope at this end occurring tensile force can be unlocked.
Preferably, the tensile force of the end of the pulling element connected to the release of the ratchet lock engages next to the pivot axis of the actuating lever so that the same can be swiveled in a direction that is opposite to the direction of rotation of the end of the pulling element directly engaging the actuating lever.
For this, z. B. on the segment carrier of the ratchet mechanism a deflection device for the force transmitted by the strand of the pulling element connected to the trigger can be attached, or a roller can be mounted on the pivot axis of the actuating lever over which the pulling element designed as a cable is guided at a distance from the pivot axis.
In another preferred embodiment of the invention, a fixed deflection lever is provided, on one leg of which one end of the pulling element is attached, whereas the other leg is coupled to the trigger of the ratchet mechanism, the arrangement being such that a tensile force acting on the deflection lever causes a torque on the actuating lever which is opposite to that torque which is effective through the strand of the pulling element that acts directly on the actuating lever.
The actuating lever according to the invention can thus be properly operated from a remote control station with the aid of the pulling element, since the ratchet lock can also be operated by the pulling element. Since the construction of the operating lever is simple, its manufacturing cost is also low.
The actuating lever can be used particularly advantageously as a brake lever for trailer vehicles, and it can be operated from a towing vehicle. In the case of agricultural tractors with a handbrake lever attached to the trailer, this can thus be easily operated from the driver's seat of the tractor. For this purpose, a strand of a pull rope is attached directly to the free end of the handbrake lever and the rope is returned to the driver's seat of the tractor and from there to the handbrake lever, where the other end is linked to the release linkage of the ratchet mechanism. The loop of the rope can be easily hung on the tractor near the driver's seat, so that the rope is always ready to hand for the driver.

The object of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to two exemplary embodiments shown in the drawings. 1 shows an actuating lever designed as a handbrake lever with a ratchet lock with a cable for remote control in a side view, and FIG. 2 shows a special design of the connection of the pull cable to the release of the ratchet lock using a fixed reversing lever.
The hand lever --1-- is pivoted about the fixed axis --2--. A ratchet lever 4 can be pivoted about an axis --3 - of the hand lever. The ratchet lever --4-- is brought into engagement by a pre-tensioned spring --5-- arranged on the handle and a pull rod --6-- in a fixed toothed arch --7--. A pulley --8-- is also rotatably mounted on the pivot axis --2--. In an eyelet 11 - at the upper end of the hand lever-l - one end of a rope - 9 - is attached, the other end of which is passed over the pulley - 8 -, as well as in an eyelet 10 of the rods-6 - is attached.
The middle part of the pull rope --9- is led to the operator's position by forming a loop and can be hung there on a hook or peg. At the end of the loop, a yoke-shaped handle-15-is pushed onto the pull rope, the pivoting of which can be used to put one or the other strand of the pull rope under tension.
In the embodiment according to Fig. 2, the lower end of the pull rope -9- is fastened in the eyelet -13- of a reversing lever -12-. The reversing lever --12-- is connected to the ratchet lever --4-- by a pull rod --14-.
In both versions, the tensile force generated by the pull rope --9-- on the release linkage --6-- on the one hand counteracts the pretensioned spring --5-- and, on the other hand, a torque occurs on the hand lever-l-which counteracts the torque that is effective through the other end of the pull rope --9-- at the free end of the hand lever. In order to achieve this, the pulling rope -9- is guided over the pulley -8-- at a sufficient distance from the axis --2--. To that
EMI2.1
The mode of operation of the described arrangement is as follows: If the strand of the pull rope 9-attached to the upper end --11-- of the hand lever-l-is tightened, the hand lever-l-is turned clockwise, e.g. B. pivoted to apply a vehicle brake. The ratchet lever --4-- engages under the action of the pretensioned spring --5-- in the dental arch --7--. If, on the other hand, the other strand of the pull rope --9--, which is coupled to the release linkage -6- for the ratchet lever --4-, is put under tension, the ratchet lever - 4-- is against the action of the pretensioned spring - -5-- is disengaged from the dental arch --7-- and at the same time the hand lever-l- is swiveled counterclockwise, as the tensile force on the hand lever-l-acting against this through this strand of the pull cable --9-- Clockwise causes.
With the help of the yoke-shaped handle -15-attached to the pulling rope -9- near the operator's position, the hand lever -l-can be swiveled with one hand in any clockwise direction or, after the ratchet lock has been released, in the opposite direction.
