Papierrollenhalter.

Paper roll holder.
The invention relates to a holder for paper rolls, in particular toilet paper rolls, which allows only one sheet or a specific, controllable, small number of sheets to be torn off. The present invention therefore prevents any number of sheets from tearing off at the same time. Compared to the already existing toilet paper rolls aimed at economical consumption of toilet paper

Mode of action.
The same consists of an axis 2 carrying the paper roll 1 made of wood or another suitable material. In the axis; 2 an adjustable wood screw / 3 is embedded, which protrudes with its point or with one edge from the axis surface (Fig. 2 and 3) and thereby secures the paper roll against rotation. An axis with or without a screw or any other device can serve the same purpose with a heart-shaped cross-section (FIG. 4), square or otherwise angular or non-round shaped axis.
After the screw as far as the volume of the hollow of the paper roll requires. has been set, the paper roll is to be wound onto the axle in such a way that it does not turn around the axle. The axle is suspended horizontally at its ends by means of a cord or chain 4. The cord or chain is firmly connected to the axle terminals.
When pulling the free ends of the paper strip, which is perforated in a known manner, the fastening cord or chain, which is firmly connected to the axis probes, is wound up on the axis, which lifts the roller and rotates it until the perforated separation point of the paper strip is exposed, so that now a sheet can be torn off the roll of paper, which is inhibited by the braking effect of the roll weight. In addition to the braking effect of the roll weight, depending on the length of the fastening cord from the knot to the axis, a clamping or braking effect of the paper roll acting laterally on the paper roll from the fastening cord or chain can be used.
To strengthen the

also serve to interrupt the rotational movement of the paper roll, so that a jerky pulling effect is possible which makes it easier to tear off a piece of paper. The knot of the fastening cord 4 (Fig. 1) can be replaced by a clip 7 provided with holes (Fig. K). In order to make it more difficult to move the clasp 7 arbitrarily, the bores converge from top to bottom (FIG. 1)). This type of cord connection enables the lateral braking effect of the fastening cord on the paper roll to be regulated.
Several sheets can be regularly separated from the paper strip when the clasp 7 is at a distance from the wooden axis, while only one sheet can be torn off when the clasp has moved into a certain vicinity of the axis. The axis can also be suspended from a console board 8 by means of a cord or chain in such a way that the paper roll lifted by the winding up of the fastening cord or chain or the axis pushes against the console board, whereby the rotary movement is limited (Fig.
10 and 11). The rotary movement can also be inhibited in such a way that

that the ends of the fastening cord or chain are extended downwards with their ends beyond the axis and are fastened with these ends to a wall board, so that the ends wind up on this when the axis is rotated, but only a certain rotation of the axis as a result of its fastening allow and in this way limit the rotational movement of the axis and thus also of the paper blind (Fig. 12).
According to a further embodiment, the axis is by means of two cords or

connected to the upper ends and braced downward in a wedge shape by a strut 14. The axis is removable. When pulling the paper strip, the cords must be

shorten. As a result, they shorten the distance between the wooden legs at the lower ends and thus cause a bending stress in the wooden legs, which, as a braking force, stops the paper roll and, after a paper strip has been separated, ensures the return of the axis and the paper roll.
