sondern bald schneller bald langsamer dreht.

but soon turns faster, sometimes slower. Even if these differences in speed are not visible, fluctuations in the pitch or timbre are caused by them.
The present invention avoids these inconveniences due to the omission of all intermediate gears.
In the drawing, the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment. Fig. 1 is a bottom plan view of the new engine; Fig. 2 is a side view with the engine casing in section; Fig. 3 is a detailed view of the braking device.
The turntable 1 is seated on the vertical spindle 2, which runs in a bearing arm 3 at the bottom and is passed through a bearing bore 4 of the motor frame 5 at the top. The lower half of the spindle 2 is provided with helical or worm flights 6 which interact with a worm wheel 7. The latter is advantageously attached to the housing or the drum 8 in which the commonly used steel band spring is arranged as a power source. The spring housing 8 with the spring is seated on an axle 9, on which a ratchet wheel 10 cooperating in a known manner with a pawl 11 is attached. The ribbon spring can be wound onto the wool 9 in any way, for example by means of the key 12.
On the upper half of the spindle 2, below the bearing 4, a gear 13 is arranged, which j in with a screw seated on the shaft 16 of the regulator

stored so that the shaft axis is inclined, as can be seen from FIG. The inclination of the governor shaft causes the worm 14 to mesh with the teeth of the gear 13

If the worm 6 'is arranged, a conventional gear wheel can also be used here instead of a worm wheel.
The regulator balls 18 are seated on resilient metal strips 19 with one end
