Procedure is that Aie mentioned. poor heating gases, such as B. generator, mixed and blast furnace gases are compressed, so that the possibility is offered to generate a cue name from these gases o can be directed so that it comes into contact in its entirety with the material to be sintered in the furnace, so the same thing immediately can be brought to an extraordinarily high temperature, while the parts of the furnace that are not touched by the stab sammo are only heated by the evacuating fire gases, i.e. brought to a significantly lower temperature.
The material above is therefore only preheated, but not brought to sintering, whereby the formation of solid deposits in the furnace with a correspondingly large cross-section of the rotating furnace tube appears to be completely excluded and yet enough material can be passed through to be able to carry out a profitable large-scale operation .
The process is carried out in a rotating furnace of otherwise known construction, which is, however, equipped with the above-mentioned furnace. In the accompanying drawing, a suitable one for carrying out the process is shown. Oven made visible.

with view of the burner.
The compressed heating gas used for sintering is pressed through line d, and the combustion air through line c into burner e, in which the gas and air are mixed and which can be directed so that the flash flame emitted from the same is directed to a specific zone of the stovepipe b and this immediately so

Stove pipe is immediately sintered by the extracting Fenergase, still powdery material, whereby due to the movement of the material caused by the rotation of the furnace, the dust particles are agglomerated into lumps, which fall out of the same at the end of the furnace pipe at f.
