Die so   erzielten Abzüge   worden alsdann dem oben beschriebenen Ätzprozess unterworfen und dadurch die Reliefs erzeugt. 



   Infolge des mehrmaligen   Aufeinandordruckens   auf dem   Überdruckbogen   sowie des beim   Oberdruck erfolgenden Breiterdrückens   der Farbe erscheint zunächst die Rückseite   der zweiseitigen Abzüge   bedeutend satter als die Vorderseite. Während auf der Vorderseite sämtliche   Tondu   mit Ausnahme der Tiefen in offenen   Rastermustern   oder Strichen erscheinen, bilden auf der Rückseite alle Töne mit Ausnahme der hellen Lichter geschlossene   Flächen.
