Standing stove in prismatic shape with a den
Firebox enclosing water jacket with smooth
Internal combustion chamber walls
Patent No. 251827 relates to a standing hearth boiler in prismatic shape with a water jacket enclosing the combustion chamber with smooth interior walls of the combustion chamber, in which the distance between the outer boundary wall of the hearth boiler and the inner water jacket is about twice as large as the distance the remaining jackets delimiting the water space, and in which bead-shaped extensions of the outer connection delimiting wall and the two outer side walls abutting this outer connection delimiting wall are provided both below and above.
In this way, the sharp deflections of the water circulation that occur in the case of sharp transitions from the interior of the stove to the connecting pieces and the resulting eddies, noises and shocks are avoided. In the case of the parent patent, the bowing of the inner and outer walls is avoided by the fact that stud bolts are passed through the water jacket at about half the height of the stove and furthermore the outer connection boundary wall and the two outer side walls that adjoin this outer boundary wall from top to bottom running, vertically seated ribs are occupied.
It has been found that the stud bolts are exposed to strong thermal expansions, which lead to difficulties in operation; cracks may appear. In order to avoid this disadvantage, instead of the stud bolts in the middle, both the outer connection delimitation wall and the two outer side walls abutting this outer connection delimitation wall and the outer end wall are provided in a known manner with frustoconical upsets whose circular top surface is perforated and the circular edges of which are welded to the outer surface of the inner water jacket.
The drawings show the subject matter of the invention. FIG. 1 shows a vertical section through the stove, FIG. 2 shows a plan view.
The connecting pieces 2, 3 are seated in a bulge-shaped expansion 4 on the outer boundary wall 1 of the stove top. The connecting pieces 2, 3 are pressed out of the bulging-shaped expansion 4 with a smooth transition. The distance a between the two jackets, namely the outer jacket 1 from the inner jacket 5, is twice as large as the corresponding distance b between the two jackets 6, 7 to avoid congestion and steam hammer in the two lateral walls 6 and 7 to avoid enclosed water spaces.
Both the outer connection delimitation wall 1 and the two outer side walls (outer sheaths) abutting the outer connection delimitation wall l have bulge-shaped extensions 4 both above and below, which ensures an even distribution of the return water and an even collection

of the flow water is effected. In each case in the middle of the outer boundary wall 1 carrying the connecting pieces, the two outer side walls 7 abutting the outer connection boundary wall 1 and the outer end wall 11, frustoconical upsets 12 are provided, the circular ceiling surface of which is perforated. The circular edges of the circular conical upsets lie against the outer surface of the inner water jacket 5, 6, 13 and are welded to it.
The weld points are provided with reference number 14 in the drawings. The outer connection boundary wall 1 and the outer side walls 7 abutting this outer boundary connection wall 1 are covered with ribs 9 running vertically on them from top to bottom, which thus protrude into the lintel 10, which at the same time also improves the heat transfer is reached by the smoke gases on the profile to be welded.
