Device for inserting and withdrawing a cleaning nozzle connected to a hose into or out of pipes and ducts
The invention relates to a device for inserting and withdrawing one on one
Hose connected cleaning nozzle into pipes and channels or from such, to which cleaning nozzle a steel cable is attached, wherein the hose is assigned a drum for unwinding and winding the hose.
Cleaning nozzles for such uses are particularly needed on sludge suction devices, in which it is known, among other things, to have a tether attached to the suction pipe, which is guided over rollers and at the end carries a counterweight or is connected to the piston rod of a compressed air cylinder. In these designs, weight compensation is achieved by means of the rope.
The suction tube cannot be wound on.
Furthermore, a device for emptying sewer shafts is known in which one has a
Electric motor driven pump is arranged on a frame, which can be lowered on a rope in a shaft. A drum is assigned to the rope. This is connected to a drum with a smaller diameter for the cable of the electric motor. Since this drum has the same number of revolutions for the cable and the tether, the disadvantage of the different diameters selected during unwinding is that the cable is more heavily loaded than the tether. There is a great risk of the cable being destroyed.
Furthermore, the arrangement of hose reels in sludge suction vehicles u. similar Vehicles are known for which, however, no devices have been specified so far by which tensile stress on the hose is avoided during the winding process on the drum.
The invention is based on the object of designing the device of the type described at the outset in such a way that high stresses are kept away from the hose when it is being wound up.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the hose reel is coupled via a differential gear to a cable drum, the diameter of which is smaller than that of the hose reel. The rope wound onto the rope drum or issued by it results in a reliable application of the tensile forces necessary for its retrieval due to its attachment to the cleaning nozzle. Through the interposition of a differential gear, the hose drum and the cable drum can run at different speeds. When the hose is reeled up, it is ensured that the rope is always under load and can withstand the high loads. The tensile forces in the hose and in the rope are inversely proportional to the diameters of the associated drums.
The invention is described below with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a sludge suction vehicle with the device according to the invention in a side view and FIG. 2 shows a floor plan of the vehicle according to FIG.
A sludge suction device is placed on the loading platform 1 of the truck 2, the details of which are shown schematically to illustrate the invention. The sludge suction device contains the hose reel device 6 with the hose reel 15 on which the hose 5 can be wound, at one end of which the nozzle 14 is arranged. About the differential

drive 16a, the hose reel 15 is connected to a cable drum 16. The diameter of the hose reel 15 is larger, preferably significantly larger, than the diameter of the cable drum 16. The wire rope 17 belonging to the cable drum 16 is attached to the nozzle head and runs essentially parallel to the hose 5 through the head 13 of a hose guide device 3.
The difference in diameter between the hose drum 15 and the cable drum 16 ensures that the pulling action on the nozzles is always from the wire cable 17 and not from the hose 5.
EMI2.1
The hose 5 and the wire rope 17 are applied to the associated drums 15 and 16 by means of common guide rollers 18. The hose winding device is driven, for example, by means of a power take-off shaft 19 of the vehicle engine.
