Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
Elektrisch beheizter Kochtopf oder Kochkessel
EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Electrically heated saucepan or kettle
EMI1.1
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Sensor 6a indirectly influenced by the heating fluid diethylene glycol 5 as a result of the heat transfer through the boiler bottom and the heating current is switched off. This dual function of the thermostat 6 and the associated sensor 6a is achieved, as can be seen in particular from FIG. 2, in that a tube 6b made of material with high thermal conductivity, e.g. B. copper is attached in such a way (soldering, welding, etc.) that an intensive heat transfer is guaranteed. The dimensions of the tube 6b correspond to those of the sensor 6a, so that it can be pushed precisely into the tube 6b.
The tube 6b with the sensor 6a is covered or sealed by a capsule 7 made of metal in such a way that the tube 6b with the sensor 6a cannot come into contact with the heating liquid diethylene glycol 5. The space 8 remaining between the capsule 7 and the tube 6b, which can be filled with insulating material, is dimensioned such that the contents of the cooking kettle or its temperature reliably influences the sensor 6a of the thermostat 6, but when the kettle 1 is empty, the heat The transfer of the heating liquid 5 through the bottom of the cooking vessel 1 is certain to take place in such a way that the heating liquid 5 cannot be heated to more than about 150 ° C. even when the highest possible temperature is set (approximately 120 ° C.).
a certain maximum temperature difference between the set temperature and that of the heating fluid is guaranteed. This arrangement of the thermostat 6 or the sensor 6a in conjunction with the use of diethylene glycol as heating fluid ensures perfect temperature control for the contents of the cooking vessel 1 and practically maintenance-free operation of cooking vessels according to the invention.
The illustrated and described exemplary embodiments, however, by no means exhaust the invention, but can still be implemented in various ways within the framework of its basic ideas.
Cooking kettles according to the invention can also be used as tilting kettles, but by means of a mechanical or electrical magnetic lock the kettle can only be tilted for emptying after the heating current has been switched off.
