Dachkonstruktion

Roof construction
The invention relates to a roof structure, in particular for flat and monopitch roofs, consisting of a layer of rigid corrugated sheets resting on the rafters or purlins of the supporting structure, a filling layer resting on the corrugated sheets with a corrugated underside and flat top, at least one layer Roofing felt and preferably a reflective layer of gravel or paint.
The known flat roof constructions primarily have the disadvantage that their weight is very high, as a result of which the load-bearing construction parts are also very heavily loaded or have to be dimensioned accordingly. In such known designs, a pourable material, namely a crushed cork-asphalt mixture, is applied to the corrugated sheets, which after the application is made equal to the wave crests by wiping off. H. the trough is filled with the pourable material. This applied layer now lies snugly against the corrugated sheets, so that no hollow space can arise, so that a separate layer of asbestos cardboard is necessary as a vapor barrier in this design.
In addition, since corrugated asbestos cement panels are unable to stop the steam entirely, the steam condenses and the cork pellet-asphalt mixture is softened and thus gradually loses its insulating effect. In this known embodiment, it is particularly disadvantageous that the filling compound has to be poured on on the spot. But also the lack of parting line and gaps between corrugated sheets and filling compound is disadvantageous in this construction.
The invention is therefore primarily based on the object of creating a roof structure for flat roofs which is particularly durable and well ventilated, also has a relatively low weight and is consequently also less expensive than the usual flat roof structures.
The object is achieved according to the invention in that the filling layer consists of prefabricated filler panels made of heat-insulating lightweight building material with the underside and flat top corresponding to the wave shape of the corrugated sheets, which, like the corrugated sheets, are butt-butted on the front side in a known manner and their underside with the Corrugated sheets are connected in places by gluing. This configuration significantly reduces the weight of such roof structures and ensures good ventilation of the roof. By gluing the filling layer to the corrugated sheets in places, an even larger gap is created, which promotes good ventilation.
By using lightweight construction material on the corrugated sheets, the roof construction can be made much simpler and lighter.
With regard to the term “corrugated sheet”, it should be stated that this term is in no way limited to corrugated sheets with a rounded profile, that is to say with a sinusoidal course of the cross-sectional shape. Corrugated sheets with a rectangular, triangular, trapezoidal profile should also be recorded.
The corrugated sheets form the underside of the roof and at the same time the load-bearing element for the materials to be applied and the snow load. The corrugated sheets expediently rest freely with their front ends on the rafters or purlins of the supporting structure, so that the corrugated sheets are effective as free-lying supports between the rafters or purlins. The corrugated sheets are butt jointed over the center of the rafter or purlin and, as required, fixed by means of screws, brackets or the like. The corrugated sheets can be made of asbestos cement or of other materials with similar material strength z. B. made of glass fiber reinforced plastic.

The filler body made of lightweight construction material lying on the corrugated sheets represents the heat-insulating element of the roof structure and also has the purpose of creating a level support for the roofing felt.
The filler protrudes over the wave crests of the corrugated sheets of the freely selectable thickness according to the required insulation value of the entire roof structure. The use of lightweight panels with a corrugated underside and flat top side is expedient. These lightweight panels are glued to the corrugated sheets in places. The individual lightweight panels butt against each other. If the thermal insulation is to be particularly large, it is advisable to cover the joints of the lightweight panels with a second layer of lightweight panels that are flat on both sides. A particularly suitable material for the filler or the lightweight panels forming it is plastic foam, e.g. B. Polystyrene foam.
The roof construction according to the invention is simple and can be assembled in a relatively short time. In addition, the installation can be carried out regardless of the weather (in contrast to flat roofs made of in-situ concrete structures).
The invention is explained in more detail by means of an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing, without being restricted thereto. The drawing shows a section of a flat roof structure in a diagrammatic representation and partially in section.
