Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

EMI1.1
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
No. 238797 is provided with external and / or with several internal closing bandages, the tension control coverings being applied to the uncured, partially cured or cured partial insulation coil.
EMI2.1
The voltage-controlled high-voltage conductor produced according to this process is easy to produce and, due to its glass fiber-filled epoxy resin insulation, is mechanically and electrically stronger, less sensitive to moisture, more creep current and more corrosive than the previously known designs.
The thermal properties of the new voltage-controlled insulation are superior to the types with thermoplastic insulating materials or tear-sensitive epoxy resin-impregnated paper tapes, which is particularly advantageous in the event of a short circuit.
Embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings:
In Fig. 1, the tape 2 impregnated with hot-curing synthetic resin (preferably epoxy resin-impregnated glass silk tape) is applied to the conductor 1 with a respective intermediate layer of a tension control coating 3 and finally the entire composite winding is provided with a closing bandage 4 according to the parent patent. 5 is the metallization of the insulation surface.
As shown in Fig. 2, the impregnated with thermosetting synthetic resin is on the conductor 1
EMI2.2
or lacquering, whereby the further synthetic resin layers can easily be wound onto the now hard base, which is particularly advantageous at higher voltages. The massive busbar insulation is then created by applying the partial insulation several times with voltage control coatings.
