Description

  Reinigungsvorrichtung für Sandfilter.
 EMI1.1

(Fig. 1), oder an einen anderen Bestimmangsort treibt.

  Cleaning device for sand filters.
 EMI1.1
Jet devices, whose water jet resp. the granular filter material is carried away and with the lowest water consumption either transported up to the same filter or to a different destination stollo and washes it out at the same time.

The device is shown in the drawing using an exemplary embodiment.

Fig. 1 shows the jet apparatus in view, arranged under a filter. Fig. 2 is the jet apparatus in vertical section and on a larger scale.

The housing 6 of the apparatus with a vertical funnel 5, which opens out into the horizontal mouthpiece 12 at the bottom, is attached under a sand filter 1 of any system, the bottom 2, 3 of which is inclined in the shape of a funnel towards the discharge opening 4. The sand flows into the apparatus through the opening 4. The pressurized water is fed through a pipe 14 and through the opening 11 into the nozzle head 15, the nozzle 7 of which extends to approximately below the center of the sand inlet. A tube 8 is fitted into the same and can be moved back and forth therein in the axial direction. When pushed in, this tube 8 extends into the mouthpiece 12, and in this position closes the pressurized water jet

 enter.

At the same time, openings 9 are provided on the pipe 8, so that when the pipe is pulled back a little, which can be done, for example, by turning the screw spindle 10 in its nut housing 17, the pressurized water penetrates through the opening 9 into the pipe 8 and through the mouthpiece 12 emerges, which entrains the sand freely falling from the filter through the funnel 5 and, while at the same time thorough washing of the same takes place, through the pipe 18 or some other pipeline either from above into the filter container 1 (Fig. 1) , or to another destination.

If the mixture is thrown into a different filter than the one from which the sand is conveyed, then one has the advantage that the latter can be filled again immediately with filter material, which saves time.
