Suspended ceiling for industrial ovens
The invention relates to a suspended ceiling for industrial furnaces consisting of rows of ribs and furrows, in which both the rib stones and the furrow stones are each directly suspended from a hanging iron arranged above the rib stones. In the case of the known stones for a suspended ceiling, there has been no height adjustability, which is often desired, until now. The well-known so-called hangers for the ceiling stones can neither be shortened nor lengthened when inserted, but must be brought into the desired shape beforehand, i.e. also sorted and transported separately.
The disadvantages of the known stones are avoided according to the invention in that the side plate designed as a suspension means in the case of sheet metal-coated stones or the suspension means which engages the stone in the case of uncoated stones is provided with two or more eyelets arranged one above the other.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in more detail in the drawing. It shows a sectional view of a suspended ceiling according to the invention with the ceiling part pulled down towards the burners of the furnace.
In the ceiling designed as a suspended rib ceiling, the rows of higher stones 2 form the ribs, the rows of less high stones 1 arranged between these form the furrows, with both the rib stones and the furrow stones on the hanging iron 3 arranged close above the rib stones 2 are hung.
The hanging irons 3 are supported by angle irons 4 which, arranged close above the rib stones 2 in the direction of the ceiling arch, are support members for the suspended ceiling.
In the embodiment example, sheet metal-sheathed stones are provided for the suspended ribbed ceiling, the extension of the side plates of the individual stones beyond their top surface serving as a hanging link for the individual stones.
The drawing illustrates the suspension of the ceiling stones 1 and 2 by the extensions of their side plates, the extended sheet metal part 5 being provided with two or more eyelets lying one above the other for the suspension iron 3 to engage. In the same way, the additional stones 6 provided above the rows of furrows 1 can be suspended above the rows of ribs 2.
The arrangement of several eyelets arranged one above the other in the hanging link 5 proves to be advantageous in the case of steps in the longitudinal direction of the ceiling. In this way, the furrow stones 2 a, which are the same among themselves, can be imposed at different heights in adjacent rows of ceilings.
