EMI1.1
*) Unter Abstreifer ist ein flüssiges Produkt zu verstehen, das nach der Hochdruckhydrierung verschiedener Rohstoffe erhalten wird.
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Process for the continuous distillation of thermally unstable tars, petroleum and oils
EMI1.1
*) A scraper is a liquid product that is obtained after the high-pressure hydrogenation of various raw materials.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Example 1: A lignite tar from high-temperature coking was distilled without pressure. The distillation had to be interrupted after 24 hours because of clogging.
Example 2: A mixture consisting of distilled tars and oils (88% by weight) and brown coal tar (12% by weight) from the high-pressure temperature coking process was used with and without hydrogen at 40 kp / cm2 in the preheater up to 3200 distilled. The results are shown in Table 1.

Lignite tars, which come from high-temperature lignite coking, cannot be distilled due to their thermal instability. After the process according to the invention has been introduced, it is possible to separate and work up such tars by distillation. The residue obtained in normal tar distillations can be reduced significantly by introducing this process, which increases the amount of distillation.
