<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Device for the production of mixtures of small stone and binding agents, for example asphalt
The invention relates to an apparatus for producing mixtures of small stone and
Binders, for example asphalt. While so far certain rock sizes corresponding to the intended use, which have been classified in a screening plant, have been used for such mixtures, there has recently been a move towards mixtures of, for example, asphalt with a
To produce small stones of mixed grain sizes. These mixtures also contain rock elements, the dimensions of which are far larger than the largest rock elements in the previously common methods and which are up to 120 mm in size.
So-called mixed natural gravel is usually used for such mixtures; That is, a material which is taken from the deposits of rivers, sedimentary deposits or quarries without prior classification, in the latter case the rock material occurring immediately after the mine explosion is used directly.
The use of such mixtures brings about a significant simplification of the manufacturing process, but such mixtures cannot be used everywhere.
The invention now provides a device for the production of mixtures of small rock and binding agents, for example asphalt, with which both the mixtures made from classified rock, as used previously, and the recently used mixtures, which consist of rock elements of different sizes, can be produced .
The invention is based on a device with a bunker for the small rock, a screening system with subsequent compartments for storing various sizes of rock and with a container for transporting the small rock to the mixer. In such devices it is already known to make the screening system optionally switchable. The invention essentially consists in that the bunker has two optionally actuatable outlet openings, whereby the small rock is fed directly to the transport container, which is preferably mounted on rails, through one outlet opening, while the small rock is fed to the screening plant through the other outlet opening preferably with the interposition of a bucket elevator known per se becomes.
The system according to the invention can thus be used in a simple manner for the production of the various mixtures, u. in that either one or the other outlet opening of the bunker is used.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the transport container can be moved into two end positions on the receiving side, one end position being arranged under the bunker and the other end position under the storage compartments adjoining the screening system. This enables the transport container to be moved directly under the corresponding outlet opening of the bunker. The two end positions of the transport container are expediently marked by stops that can optionally be switched on, which at the same time serve to control the drive for the transport container, which is preferably carried out via ropes by a winch. In the context of the invention, the arrangement is such that the shutdown or
Braking of the winch drive takes place as a function of the loosening of the hauling cable of the transport container after the transport container has hit the stop.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The stops are preferably arranged on a rail section which is connected to a scale for weighing the weight of the contents of the transport container. In this case, the actuation of the outlet openings of the bunker and the actuation of the winch drive can be performed depending on the
The scale deflection of the weighing device can be controlled automatically.
In the drawing, the invention is shown schematically using an exemplary embodiment. Fig. 1 shows a device according to the invention for the production of mixtures in view, while Eig. 2 one
Represents top view of this device.
The rock material 3 used is fed to a drying drum 1 in which it is dried by a burner 2 heated with petroleum. From this drying drum, the rock material arrives in a bunker 4 which has two openings 5 and 7. A shaft 6, via which the rock material is fed to a bucket elevator 8, connects to the opening 7. This bucket elevator 8 has a
Outlet channel 9, which opens into the sieve system 10. The rock material classified in this screening plant is fed to the various storage compartments 11.
Below the bunker 4 and the storage compartments 11 are rails 14 on which a transport container 13 can be moved. This transport container can assume two end positions 12, 12 'on the receiving side. The end position 12 is arranged below the opening 5 of the bunker 4 and the position 121 is arranged below the openings 25 of the storage compartments 11. The transport container is moved via a pull rope 15 which is rolled up on a winch 16. The rails 14 on which the transport container 13 can be moved are interrupted at point 17 and are located in a further section
18, which has an arcuate shape 19. When this curved part is driven over, the transport container 13 reaches the position 12 ″, in which its contents are emptied into a mixer 20.
The mixture of the rock material and the binding agent produced in this mixer is transferred to another. Transport container 21 movable on rails 22 emptied, the receiving end position of which is below mixer 20.
The rail section. 14 is connected to a scale for weighing the weight of the contents of the transport container, which can be read on the scale 24. This scale 24 is connected in the drawing to the weighing device 23, but it can also be arranged in the central control station of the entire system.
If a mixture of unclassified rock material is produced, the opening 5 of the bunker 4 is opened while the opening 7 remains closed. The receptacle 13 is moved into position 12 and remains there until the weight of its rock content has reached a predetermined value. The outlet opening 5 is then closed and the transport container is moved into position 12 ″, in which it empties its contents into the mixer 20.
If a mixture of classified rock material is produced, the opening 5 of the bunker 4 remains closed and the rock material is fed to the screening system 10 via the opening 7, the channel 6 and the bucket elevator 8, while the opening 25 of the storage compartment 11 corresponding to the required rock size is opened becomes. The transport container is in position 12 '. After reaching the predetermined rock weight in the transport container, the opening 25 is closed again and the transport container is moved to position 12 ″, in which it empties its contents into the mixer 20. The winch 16 is driven and the openings 5 and 25 are closed appropriately automatically depending on the scale deflection of the weighing device 23.
The transport container 13 can of course also be emptied into the mixer 20 in any other desired manner. The displacement of the transport container can also take place in a horizontal plane.
The control of the openings 5, 7 and 25 as well as the winch 16 can take place by electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic devices which work as a function of the deflection of the scale 24 of the weighing device 23.
