Verbindung dieser Artjenem der Rippen 5 bzw. 6 gleicht.

Corner connection of two longitudinally slotted, mitered hollow profiles for window frames, door frames or the like.

This type of connection is similar to that of the ribs 5 and 6, respectively. The longitudinal ribs 5.6 of the webs 3.4 therefore fit exactly into these grooves. Each of the legs 7 ', 7 "of the connecting piece 7 has two threaded bores 13, each of which is penetrated by a pressure or clamping screw 14. It is important that a surface between 5' and 6 ' of the longitudinal ribs is parallel to the screws, while the respective other surface facing away from the longitudinal slot - 5 'or 6 "- is inclined to this end. This latter, inclined surface is used to guide the connector.

Screws penetrate a little into the underlying material, so the created in this way
Reaction forces press the leg 7 ′ firmly against the inside of the parts 3 and 4 facing one another. These reaction forces are indicated by the arrows F1 in FIG. 1 and run perpendicular to the plane A-A, but parallel to the other leg 7 ″ of the connecting piece 7.
The second profile piece is then pushed onto the other leg 7 ″ of the connecting piece and brought into the correct position with respect to the first profile piece; the second leg thus enters the
Cavity of the second profile piece. To complete the connection, it is sufficient to tighten the screws 14 that have been screwed into this second leg. As was also the case with the first leg, reaction forces are generated which are indicated by the arrows F2 in FIG. 1 and which are perpendicular to the plane B-B, which itself runs perpendicular to the plane A-A.
It can be seen from the above that the reaction forces F1 and F2 are mutually perpendicular to one another and are directed into the interior of the frame or the like. In this way, a pretension is generated in the connecting piece by bending it slightly, which is facilitated by the presence of the rounded recess 8. The consequence of this is that there is strong tension in the
Frame is created which significantly increases its strength, durability and, above all, its rigidity.
This becomes even clearer if a window or a door which is assembled according to the principle on which the invention is based is considered. In the case of such a window or such a door, the reaction forces that act on the colliding parts are opposed to one another. As a result, this window or this door is in equilibrium in terms of tension and has an internal elasticity which is by far sufficient to deal with all deformations of the frame that could result from changes in the ambient temperature, the action of external forces, shocks or the like. balance.
