Agitator mixer for mixing powdery to granular
Dry goods
The invention relates to an agitator mixer for mixing powdery to granular dry goods, consisting of a mixing vessel and a stirrer driven rotating in this near its bottom in the form of a hub ring held at some distance from the bottom of the vessel with downward interaction with the bottom of the vessel externally conveying shovel spokes.
In the case of these agitator mixers, it is known to provide the hub ring on the outside with free-standing blades which, opposite to the blade spokes, convey the material upwards. The free-standing wings are kept at some distance from the boiler bottom and thus practically only have a conveying effect.
The invention relates to a design of this agitator mixer by means of which the mixing effect is significantly improved. According to the invention, in an agitator mixer of the aforementioned type, the hub ring carries outwardly directed, initially pulled down to the boiler bottom and along it up to
Conveyor vanes reaching the boiler shell, the conveying direction of which points upwards inwards. This design creates a very large friction surface between the conveyor vanes and the boiler bottom, which has a favorable effect on the mixing effect.
Appropriately, a scraper, known per se, is also assigned to the boiler bottom, which is driven to rotate counter to the direction of rotation of the stirrer. The scraper can be driven at a speed different from the speed of the stirrer. The trailing edges of the paddle spokes and the leading edges of the conveyor wings are sharpened. The stirrer and the scraper are arranged in a manner known per se on a lifting arm and driven at individually adjustable speed.
The design according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing. 1 shows a partially sectioned side view of a mixer with working members lifted out of the mixing vessel, FIG. 2 shows an axial section through a stirring tool on a larger scale, FIG. 3 shows a plan view of FIG. 2, FIG. 4 shows a partial section of the hub of the ring a paddle spoke and the conveyor blades and FIG. 5 shows a view of the agitating tool rotated by 900 compared to FIG.
The agitator mixer consists in a manner known per se of a stand 1 with a lifting and lowering support column 2 and a working head 3 carried by the latter. The working head 3 rotatably supports a hollow shaft 4 with the radial arm 5 for receiving the scraper 6. This is expediently arranged. and adjustably received by the radial arm 5. The agitator shaft 7 is guided in the hollow shaft 4. The agitator shaft 7 is driven by a belt drive 8 from an electric motor 9, whereas the scraper shaft 4 is driven by an electric motor 11 via a belt drive 10. The rotational speeds of the two shafts 4, 7 can thus be set independently of one another according to the respective requirements.
Under the working head 3, the mixer vessel 13 is arranged tiltable or movable between the posts 12. The mixer vessel 13 is axially aligned with the agitator shaft 7. It is also possible to use a movable mixer vessel which can be retracted under the working head 3.
The stirring tool consists of a detachable attached to the free end of the mixer shaft 7

Hub 14 with four blade spokes 15 which are enclosed by a ring 17. The blade spokes are wider towards the ring 17 and are inclined, the trailing lower edge 16 being sharpened like a cutting edge. The direction of rotation of the shaft 7 is chosen so that the blade spokes 15 the
Convey mixture downwards against the bottom of the boiler 13, whereby it is then guided radially outwards in order to rise up the boiler wall. As shown in FIG. 2, the underside of the remains
Ring 17 at some distance from the bottom of the boiler 13, so that the radial deflection of the mix is guaranteed.
The sharpening of the trailing lower edge 16 prevents mix from building up on the blade spokes 15.
The ring 17 carries two opposing conveyor wings 18 on the outer shell, which lead down to the boiler bottom and whose ends 19 inden the curve of the boiler bottom at the transition
The boiler jacket are pulled up. These conveyor vanes 18 are designed as blades and their leading edge 20, which sweeps the boiler bottom, is sharpened. They convey upwards outwards and prevent the build-up of mix at the bottom of the boiler.
The ring 17 carries two further conveying vanes 21 opposite one another, but not forming the subject of the invention, which extend up to the boiler shell and which have the task of supporting the conveyance of the goods emerging from under the ring 17 to the outside. Its leading edge 22 is also sharpened.
The two groups of conveyor vanes 8 and 21 take over the mixed material emerging from under the ring 17 and set it in a swirling upward movement in the area of the boiler shell. With this one
The material to be mixed is guided upwards by the scraper 6 and deflected by the boiler shell towards its center, so that it is drawn back into the suction of the blade spokes 15. The scraper 6 rotates against the direction of rotation of the mixer stirrer, which promotes the swirling of the material to be mixed.
Through the interaction of the blade spokes 15 with the conveyor wings 18, 21 and the scraper
6, a thoroughly even mixing is achieved in the shortest possible time, whereby due to the sharp leading edges of the individual tools, the material to be mixed cannot stick to the boiler wall or the boiler bottom. The mixing tools are kept smooth and therefore easy to clean. There are no built-in mixing devices in the boiler, so that it can also be cleaned quickly after the mixing unit has started up.
