Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 EMI1.1

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 ;werden, durch die ein sehr schwacher Wasserstrahl oder auch eine Folge von Wassertropfen auf Grund des im Gesamtsystem herrschenden Flüssigkeitsdruckes ständig austreten kann. Die austretende Wassermenge fliesst in eine Schale 12, die derart drehbar angeordnet ist, dass bei einem vorbestimmten Flüssigkeitsstand in dieser Schale ein Kippen um deren drehbare Aufhängung erfolgt ; dabei wird der Inhalt der Schale 12 in. den Ablauftrichter 10 ausgegossen.

 EMI1.1

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 ; through which a very weak water jet or a series of water droplets can constantly escape due to the liquid pressure in the overall system. The exiting amount of water flows into a bowl 12 which is rotatably arranged in such a way that when the liquid level in this bowl is predetermined, it is tilted around its rotatable suspension; the contents of the bowl 12 are poured into the discharge funnel 10.

   As a result of the tilting movement of the bowl 12 during pouring, a valve 13, which is fastened on the same axis, is opened and now allows a larger amount of water to flow out into the drainage funnel 10, u. between until the bowl 12 falls back into its starting position after its contents have been poured out and thus the valve 13 closes. This process is repeated anew as soon as the shell 12 is filled to the predetermined level.

   In Fig. 2, a particular embodiment of the invention is illustrated in which on the branch line 8 instead of the nozzle or valve 9, an automatically controlled, z. B .. electromagnetically operated valve 9 'is used. The automatically controlled valve is controlled by a timer 11 periodically for a fixed period of time, e.g. B. opened for a few seconds, whereby a certain amount of water flows intermittently into the discharge funnel 10 until the timer closes the valve again and the process is repeated again after the specified closing time.

    PATENT CLAIMS:
1. A method for treating water with sparingly soluble substances, e.g. B. condensed polyphosphates, especially condensed sodium calcium polyphosphate, in a liquid system, e.g. B. in a water pipe, by passing the water through a layer of enclosed in a container, lumpy substances in discontinuous operation, characterized in that to avoid an increase in concentration after stoppages, a constant outflowing small amount of water is collected in a collecting container (12) causes a shut-off element (13) to open when a predetermined liquid level is reached, whereby a certain amount of water is also drained off intermittently.

2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that in a branch line (8) with the help of an automatically, z. B. by a timer (11) controlled valve (9 '), intermittently causes the outflow of a certain amount of water.
