Geschossspitze beim Schuss aufplatzt.

Recoil amplifiers for automatic weapons for firing training ammunition
It is customary to use practice ammunition for the training of soldiers, as this is cheaper, does not require any special firing ranges, the operating handles on the weapons can be practiced and the development of the bang represents the desired combat noise. There are many types of practice ammunition, but their effects are all the same, because when fired they only generate gas pressure, which causes the bang and is used for the automatic function of the weapon.
Already known types of exercise ammunition are metal cartridge cases with dummy bullets made of wood, metal cartridge cases which are closed with a cardboard sheet, metal cartridge cases which are folded to a point on the case neck and, more recently, cartridges made of plastic material, in which the
Bullet tip bursts when fired. This practice ammunition can be fired from automatic weapons that work according to the gas pressure loading principle as well as from those that work according to the recoil loading principle.
The invention relates to a recoil amplifier for firing the known practice ammunition in automatic weapons, in particular in machine guns that work according to the recoil loading principle with a movable, exposed barrel, which is rigid with the weapon housing at rest with a housing tube, a connecting sleeve and two or more clamping screws is connected, the screwable connection of the housing tube with the connecting sleeve ensures the regulation and the timely outflow of the excess drive powder gases via outflow openings and has an exchangeable recoil amplifier nozzle, the nozzle diameter and nozzle cone of which can optionally be adapted to the practice ammunition.
The aim of the invention is to create a recoil amplifier for achieving automatic fire in recoil loader machine weapons with an exposed movable barrel, regardless of the mount in which the weapon is used, and without having to make additions or attachments to the weapon.
In order to convert the gas pressure that arises when the cartridge is fired into the backward movement of the barrel, the booster head is designed in a known manner as a cylinder in which the barrel muzzle slides as a piston. This amplifier head is rigidly connected in a known manner to a housing tube which is preferably perforated. The housing tube is screwed into the connecting sleeve and centers the recoil intensifier on the barrel.
The recoil intensifier head is designed according to the invention in such a way that radial outflow openings in the cylinder wall permit the outflow of excess drive powder gases and this gas drive length can be optionally adjusted by the screw connection of the housing tube with the connecting sleeve.
Another feature of the invention is characterized in that the recoil booster nozzle can be replaced by the screw connection, the recoil booster head is easily accessible for cleaning purposes, the nozzle diameter can be adapted to the respective training ammunition and the nozzle cone is designed so that it opens into the cylindrical guide of the barrel, there is no gradation in the storage space and the accumulation of residues is avoided.
Another feature of the invention is characterized in that the recoil booster is connected to the weapon housing when it is at rest by means of clamping screws, so that the connection is easily detachable, regardless of the manufacturing tolerances of the weapon housing and in none

Way hindered the acceptance and mobility of the weapon in the numerous mounts.
Further details and advantages of the invention emerge from the description of a preferred embodiment in conjunction with the schematic drawing.
The invention is not limited to the embodiment shown and described, but can be modified in any way within its scope. It shows: FIG. 1 the recoil booster in longitudinal section, FIG. 2 the recoil booster in a view mounted on a weapon with a movable barrel.
The recoil booster consists of the recoil booster head 2 in which the cylindrical part of the barrel muzzle slides. The recoil intensifier head 2 is firmly connected to the housing tube 3 and is provided with a thread on the weapon housing side so that the gas drive path "s" can be regulated by screwing in the housing tube. The lock nut 4 prevents unintentional adjustment

Path "s". Establish a rigid connection with the weapon housing. By using the tensioning screws, adjustment work or processing for mounting the recoil amplifier is not necessary.
The recoil booster according to the invention is simple in its construction, is in terms of weight below the known devices and can easily be adjusted and mounted independently of the mount.
The optional use of recoil booster nozzles allows various practice ammunition to be fired.
