Das Problem läßt sich nicht dadurch lösen, daß man den gesamten Treibkäfig als zylindrisches Teil ausbildet, da dadurch eine zu große Gewichtserhöhung des Treibkäfigs eintreten würde, was zwangsläufig zu einer Leistungsverminderung des Geschosses führen würde. Darüberhinaus sind aber auch Geschoßgewicht und Treibkäfiggewicht im Sinne einer optimalen Führung und eines optimalen Durchgleitens durch das Abschußrohr aufeinander abgestimmt, so daß durch eine nennenswerte Gewichtserhöhung des Treibkäfigs und damit durch eine Verlagerung des Schwerpunktes ein störungsfreies Durchgleiten und ggf. Dadurch wird es möglich, die gleiche Munition auch bei unterschiedlich ausgebildeten Steuerungs-oder Betätigungselementen der Lader einzusetzen. Die gestellte Aufgabe wird bei einem eingangs beschriebenen Treibkäfig erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß ein mindestens bis zum Bereich von den Ladevorgang der Abschußvorrichtung steuernden Fühlern oder Kontakthebeln im Magazin des Laders reichendes Einsatzstück derart überbrückt ist, daß die Außenwand des Treibkäfigs in diesem Bereich zu einer Zylinderfläche mit gleichem oder nahezu gleichem Durchmesser wie der der Vorsprünge ergänzt ist, und daß durch entsprechende Ausbildung des Einsatzstückes und/oder Werkstoffwahl für das Einsatzstück nur eine im Vergleich zum Gewicht des Treibkäfigs geringfügige Gewichtserhöhung eintritt.
