<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Fig. 1 ist ein
Kabelschutzprofile. Fig. 3 veranschaulicht die erfindungsgemässe Verbindung in Längsrichtung aufein- anderfolgender Kabel.

Cable protection profile 'The invention relates to Kabe. 1protection profiles, which are composed of two separate, essentially similar half-shell profiles, the half-shell profiles at least one
Have channel for receiving cables or other lines.
There are already known cable protection profiles composed of two separate half-shell profiles which are made of steel and which are connected to one another during laying by means of clamps. These known cable protection profiles have the disadvantage that the clip locks are exposed and can therefore be displaced when the floor moves, so that proper insulation of the assigned profiles is no longer guaranteed. There is also the disadvantage that these closures are subject to very strong corrosive influences because of their location in the ground.
One-piece plastic profiles are also known in which the two outer, hook-shaped leg ends are each snapped into a groove in the middle profile part in order to create two separate, isolated cavities for bare electrical conductors. These known plastic profiles are relatively complex and designed for the protection of
Cables are unsuitable because the introduction of the relatively large cable body is not possible with this structural design. Since this known profile has to be made from a relatively plastic material, because otherwise the hook-shaped leg ends would break off when they snapped into the grooves, the closures do not have a long service life and irreversible plastic deformation occurs over time.
In addition, for the reasons mentioned, this profile would not be suitable for laying inside the ground, because the pressures prevailing there prohibit the use of a soft, plastic material.
A cable protection profile is also known in which one of the two profile halves is not designed in the shape of a half-shell and which, due to the type of closure used, must consist of a relatively plastic material. However, this known cable protection profile is also not suitable to be laid in the ground, since it could not withstand the pressure in the ground. Profiles that are laid in the ground and have to withstand high earth pressure are practically only designed as half-shell profiles. In the known cable protection profile, the actuation of the locks inevitably also causes deformation of the profile and, in addition, undesired penetration of moisture into the interior of the cable protection profile is made possible.
The invention avoids the aforementioned disadvantages of the known cable protection profiles in that on one of the two longitudinal edges of the half-shell profiles made of electrically non-conductive, hard-elastic material, preferably plastic, push-button-like attachments, strips or the like are provided, which are in complementary, inwardly widening indentations, grooves or the like of the other half-shell profile can be pressed in like a snap lock so that the shell-shaped parts of the two profile halves do not deform when the lock is actuated.
By using a hard-elastic building material in conjunction with the special design and arrangement of the lock, it is achieved that the locking parts themselves interact like a snap lock, which requires a certain deformation and elastic behavior, but that the actual half-shell profiles that absorb the pressure of the soil do not have any Suffer deformation.

In addition to avoiding the above-mentioned disadvantages of the known profiles, the invention has the
The advantage is that it solves all of the manufacturing, installation and electrotechnical problems in a particularly elegant manner. In contrast to the metallic half-shell profiles, the profile parts, which are made of an electrically non-conductive and elastic material, are easy to manufacture, have a low weight and do not produce any electrical interference currents, as can easily arise with the metallic cable profiles due to induced currents. The attachment of the complementary snap-lock parts to the edges of the profile enables the half-shell profiles to be connected to one another by simply pressing them together.
Since the snap locks are not exposed, floor movements cannot affect the locks.
The invention also makes it possible, by offsetting the joints of both profile ends, to dispense with a special connecting link at the joints.
An embodiment of the invention is illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 and 3. Fig. 1 is a
Section through a cable protection tube composed of two profiles according to the invention. FIG. 2 illustrates, on an enlarged scale, a section through one of the two connecting points of two
Cable protection profiles. 3 illustrates the connection according to the invention in the longitudinal direction of successive cables.
In Fig. 1, the cable protection profiles 1 and 1 are shown. The two profiles have approaches 2 and
2 'in the form of a push-button, which in turn are in grooves 3' and 3 engage, which in the edge thickening of the Profilelbzw. l * are provided. The elasticity of the material must be chosen so that the head-shaped thickening of the lugs 2 can be pressed through the bottleneck 4 of the grooves 3.
Since the grooves gradually expand inward, the head-shaped thickening of the projection 2 expands after being pushed through the bottleneck 4 to such an extent that there is firm contact with the side walls of the groove, which means that any loosening of the connection at the seam 5 also occurs Security is prevented.
The corresponding reference numbers also apply to FIG. 2. In FIG. 3, a plan view of one of the two connection points for a butt joint between two protective cable pipes is shown schematically. The profiles 1 and 1 'of one cable protection pipe and the profiles 11 and 11' of the other cable protection pipe are held at their ends of different lengths, so that the joint of the profiles 1 and 11 are offset from the joint of the profiles 1 'and 11'. This offset position creates a durable connection between two cable protection pipes.
