Im allgemeinen wird die Füllung aus Zement-Estrich bestehen ; jeder andere Belag aus Holz, Stein usw. ist denkbar.
Sofern seitlich eingreifende Arretierungsmittel vorgesehen werden müssen, sollte man deren Steuerung in Abhängigkeit von den Endstellungen der Rampenteile durchführen; die Begrenzung beim Ausschwenken der Rampenteile kann durch an sich bekannte Mittel erfolgen, wobei Endausschalter Verwendung finden können, die am Motor bzw. an der Kette oder an sonst geeigneter Stelle vorgesehen werden.
Zum Zwecke der Unfallverhütung werden bekannte Schutzmassnahmen ergriffen ; insbesondere ist an ein elektrisch gesteuertes Schutzgitter gedacht, das beim Berühren den Antrieb ausschaltet ; in sinngemässer Weise können Photozellen usw. als Impulsgeber für die Steuerung Verwendung finden.
Vorstehend ist beschrieben, dass die beiden freien Rampenteile durch eine Kette miteinander verbunden sind. Dies bedeutet natürlich einen gleichgrossen Hub der freien Rampenenden. Will man aber erreichen, dass z. B. ein Rampenteil einen etwas grösseren oder geringeren Hub durchführt, dann muss man sinngemäss zwei Ketten (diese werden meistens paarweise eingesetzt) vorsehen, wobei das Kettenrad der einen Kette mit dem Kettenrad der andern Kette durch Unter- oder Übersetzungselemente gekoppelt sind.
Macht also das eine Kettenrad z. B. eine Umdrehung, dann würde das zweite Kettenrad z. B. zwei Umdrehungen machen. Damit wäre der Hub ein anderer.
An den Übergangsstellen der festen Fahrbahn zu den Rampenteilen können bekannte Abdeckplatten zum Einsatz gelangen, um die Fugen abzudecken.
Im Bereich der sich bildenden Öffnung beim Hochklappen bzw. Absenken der Rampenteile können Gummileisten usw. eingesetzt werden.
