Verfahren zur Herstellung neuer gemischter
EMI1.1

Method of making new mixed
EMI1.1
It is known that a ruby-colored 1: 2 metal complex dye (cobalt complex) and a purple 1: 2 metal complex dye (chromium complex) can be produced by clicking on the monoazo dye, which is obtained by coupling diazotized 4-chloro-2-aminophenol on 2-naphthol-6-sulfamide and has the following constitution:

EMI1.3
chromium-releasing 1 mole of a metal-containing compound is omitted. Such dyes are distinguished by good all-round fastness properties. However, the neutral draw power required of dyes, which are primarily required for coloring semi-wool materials, is not always satisfactory.
A process has now been found by means of which new ruby-colored and violet 1: 2 metal complex azo dyes are obtained which, in addition to very good wet fastness and very good lightfastness, also have excellent neutral drawability which is clearly superior to the neutral drawability of the above-mentioned dyes is. Such new dyes that have the formula:

suitable adjustment of the pH and drying is isolated.
These mixed complex dyes are distinguished by good solubility, very good all-round fastness properties and very good drawability from neutral liquor and are particularly suitable for setting up dye combinations for dyeing semi-woolen articles.
Example l: 37.7 parts by weight of the monoazo dye from diazotized 4-chloro-2-aminophenol and 2-naphthol-6-sulfamide and 41.1 part by weight of the monoazo dye from diazotized 4, 6-dichloro -2- aminophenol and 2-naphthol-6-sulfamide% are slurried together in 1000 parts by weight of water, heated to 850 ° C. with stirring, concentrated with 50 parts. Ammonia and 600 parts of a chromium salicylate solution containing a total of 15.2 parts of CrOg are added and the mixture is stirred under reflux for 6 h. It is allowed to cool to 70-750C, salted out with table salt and adjusted to pH 6-7 with acetic acid.
The dye is isolated at 600 ° C. and dried in a drying cabinet at 90-100 ° C. The black dye powder dissolves in water with a dark purple color and dyes animal fibers with the good fastness properties mentioned even from neutral liquor. With the appropriate thickening agents, it achieves good solubility and becomes resistant to hardness components in water.
Example 2: 37.7 parts by weight of the monoazo dye from diazotized 4-chloro-2-aminophenol and 2-naphthol-6-sulfamide and 41.1 part by weight of the monoazo dye from diazotized 4, 6-dichloro-2 -aminophenol and 2-naphthol-6-sulfamide are heated together in 1500 parts of water with stirring to 80 ° C, brought into solution with 80 parts of sodium hydroxide solution (35 Bé) and then with the solution of 28.1 parts of cobalt sulfate (CoSO.7H2O) added in 100 parts of water. The complex formation takes place immediately, which can be recognized by a color change. The mixture is stirred at 80-850C for 30 minutes, then allowed to cool to 65-700C, salted out with common salt, adjusted to pH 6-7 with acetic acid and suction filtered off the dye.
The waste liquor has a density of 1.09 to 1.11. It is dried at 80 to 900C. The cobalt complex dye is a black-brown powder that dissolves as an alkali salt in water with a ruby red color and dyes animal fibers with the above-mentioned good fastness properties. The very good neutral drawability, which particularly recommends the dye for use in dyeing half-wool, should be emphasized.
