The ratchets 7 and 9 are designed in a manner known per se in such a way that the bracket can be pushed on automatically when a compressive force is exerted on the transverse part 5, but not the other way round by applying a tensile force to the transverse part 5 can in turn be pulled down automatically. Such a pulling down of the bracket 1 can only be achieved by spreading the two legs apart from the fact that, if no special precautions are taken, possibly also pushing the bracket in the direction of the axis of the cable to be clamped, i.e. in a plane related to the drawing perpendicular direction, is possible.
So that the method just described for applying the bracket can be carried out, the legs 6 must obviously be designed to be somewhat resilient, which in practice is already ensured by manufacturing the bracket 1 from a plastic by the material alone. However, since the tension in the
Bracket, once it has been applied to the lower part 2, wears off over time, the connection can be released by even slight tensile forces exerted on the bracket 1. Such tensile forces arise in practice, for. B. then, if the cable clamp for fastening a cable to a ceiling or the like. Serves, that is, in a position where the cable rests directly on the transverse part 5 of the bracket 1.
To prevent this disadvantage, elastic lugs 10 are provided on the lower part 2 of the cable clamp according to the invention, which are used to press the legs 6 against the side surfaces 8 and thus to press the toothed catches 7 against the toothed catches 9. By these approaches 10 an undesired loosening of the connection between bracket 1 and lower part is prevented with security.
2a and 2b, in which a second embodiment of a cable clamp according to the invention is shown, the bracket 1 has both on the inside of the legs 6 ratchets 7 and on the outside of the legs ratchets 11, while the lower part 2 also apart from the The toothed catches 9 provided on the side surfaces 8 have projections 10 which are provided with toothed catches 12. In order to achieve the somewhat greater elasticity or flexibility of the lugs 10, which is necessary here, the connection between the lower part 2 and lug 10 can be made more elastic at the point indicated by 13, e.g. B. in that the related connecting webs are made narrower, but of course a certain lower limit must not be exceeded.
In a further development of the embodiment shown in FIGS. 2a and 2b, which is shown in FIGS. 3a and 3b, one pair of toothed catches 7, 9 is omitted and only the toothed catch pair 11, 12 is provided, so that the bracket 1 only on the outside of the legs 6 has toothed catches and the lower part 2 has only on the lugs 10 toothed catches 12. In this exemplary embodiment, a pressure between the toothed catches 11, 12 is achieved in that the pressure exerted by the extensions 10 on the legs 6 is absorbed by the side surfaces 8, which side surfaces 8 are therefore used as abutments for
