Seitenwand befestigten Schwenkpunkt 12 bzw. 13 in einer Richtung erstreckt, welche zu der Richtung nach dem andem Schwenkpunkt 13 bzw. 12 im spitzen Winkel steht. Der Kinderwagen wird zusammengeklappt, indem die Hilfsstangen 14 und 15 aus der beschriebenen Lage heraus derart hinuntergeschwenkt werden, dass der Abstand zwischen den oberen Enden der Stangen 10 und 11 vergrössert wird, u. zw. um so viel, dass diese Stangen sich praktisch parallel an den Kastenboden 3 anlegen.
In Fig. 2 ist die Klapplage des Gestells 2 wiedergegeben. Das Gestell 2 wird dadurch zusammengeklappt, dass die Schiebstange 16 nach vorne gekippt wird. Die Schiebstange 16 ist mit der Hilfsstange 14 fest verbunden, während Kupplungsstangen 17 und 18, deren letztere fest mit der Hilfsstange 14 verbunden ist, die Hilfsstangen 14 und 15 derart gegenseitig verbinden, dass das Hinunterschwenken der einen Hilfsstange das Hinunterschwenken der andem Hilfsstange zur Folge hat.'
Im Rahmen der Erfindung ist es möglich, eine der Hilfsstangen, z. B. die Hilfsstange 15, entfallen zu lassen. Die Kupplungsstangen 17 und 18 können dann gleichfalls fallen. Die wiedergegebene Kupplung der Schiebstange 16 mit der Hilfsstange 14 kann erwünschtenfalls auch unterbleiben.
Die Hilfsstange 14 kann dann in anderer Weise zum Zusammenklappen des Gestells 2 bewegt werden. Es kann das z. B. dadurch erfolgen, dass die Stange 10 von Hand derart bewegt wird, dass die Hilfsstange 14 in die zu der Klapplage gehörende Stellung gebracht wird. Im letzteren Falle muss die Hilfsstange 14 etwas länger sein, als wenn zwei Hilfsstangen angeordnet sind.
. Die Stangenpaare 10, 11 sind miteinander durch horizontale Verbindungsstangen 19, 20, 21 und 22 verbunden, welche sich in der Klapplage parallel an dem Kastenboden 3 anlegen.
Die waagrechten unteren Enden der Stangenpaare 10, 11 lassen sich auch zum Anordnen einer Radabfederung benutzen.
Durch die Ausbildung gemäss der Erfindung ist es möglich, sowohl die Radbasis wie den Raddurchmesser und die Höhe des Kastens über dem Boden gross genug zu machen.
PATENTANSPRÜCHE :
1. Zusammenklappbarer Kinderwagen, der in zusammengeklapptem Zustande die Form eines Handkoffers hat, bestehend aus einem Kasten und einem Gestell, das auf jeder Seite ein Paar hintereinander angeordnete Räder aufweist, die beim Zusammenklappen des Gestells eine sich längs des Kastenbodenrandes erstreckende Rinne passieren und mit einer Längsseitenwand des Kastens durch ein Stangenpaar verbunden sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jedes Stangenpaar aus etwa in ihrer Mitte (9) schwenkbar miteinander verbundenen Stangen (10, 11) besteht, welche an dem einen Ende je ein Rad (5,6) tragen und an dem andernEnde schwenkbar mit einer Längsseitenwand (7,8) des Kastens (1) verbunden sind,
wobei bei wenigstens einer der beiden Stangen jedes Stangenpaares die schwenkbare Verbindung mit der Kastenseitenwand mittels einer schwenkbarenHilfsstange (15) erfolgt, wobei die Hilfsstange (15) bei derGebrauchslage des Kinderwagens (Fig. l) sich ab dem an der Kastenseitenwand befestigten Schwenkpunkt (13) in einer Richtung erstreckt, welche zu der Richtung nach dem Befestigungspunkt (12) der andern Stange (10) des Stangenpaares. an derselben Kastenseitenwand in spitzem Winkel steht, und in Klapplage des Gestells (Fig. 2) der gegenseitige Abstand zwischen den mit derselben Kastenseitenwand verbundenen Enden jedes Stangenpaares vergrössert ist und diese Stangen (10, 11) praktisch parallel zum Kastenboden (3) an ihm anliegen.
