Fig. 2 zeigt einen Querschnitt nach Linie II - Li in Fig. 1.

Locking device for a heating control valve
The invention relates to a locking device for heating control valves with an actuating handle detachably connected to the valve spindle, such as are used to more or less throttle the flow of hot water or steam into the radiators in a central heating system, depending on the position and size of the radiator.
Heating control valves with locking devices have so far been produced in two different designs, with the valve body being basically the same, depending on whether it is heating in private households or in public buildings, in particular schools and offices.
In the first case, the heater should be able to be operated as required in order to meet changing needs. In the case of heating systems in public buildings, especially schools, on the other hand, the valves are rarely used, e.g. B. opened at the beginning of the heating season and closed again at the end of the same.
The valves are usually only with a key that is in possession of the authorized person, z. B. the school attendant is operable to prevent improper actuation of the valves. For example, the end of the valve spindle is not provided with a handle, but with a square hole or the like. Different valve designs had to be manufactured and kept in stock for these two types.
For private central heating systems, locking devices for heating control valves with an actuating handle detachably connected to the valve spindle, a peg-like stop on the housing and a single or a pair of protruding strips on the inside of the handle cap are known, which serve to limit rotation after the maximum opening value has been preset, but not can be used to completely prevent the rotation of the handle, as is necessary for so-called authority valves.
The subject matter of the invention is a locking device for a heating control valve of the aforementioned type, which, on the other hand, allows both the limitation of the angle of rotation and the complete obstruction of the rotation of the operating handle.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the two strips arranged on the inside of the grip cap leave a space between each other in which the stop on the housing barely finds space, so that the grip cap cannot be rotated when the stop is between the two strips, but outside the pair of strips horizontal stop can be turned almost by 3600.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. Fig. 1 shows a control valve in a view with a section through the handle cap. FIG. 2 shows a cross section along line II - Li in FIG. 1.
The valve spindle 2 protrudes upward from the valve housing 1 and has a cone 3 at its upper end. The handle 4, which is preferably made of plastic, has three blade wings 5 distributed over the circumference and overlaps the valve spindle and the upwardly projecting neck 9 of the valve housing like a cap. The grip cap is placed with a cast-in conical metal sleeve 6 on the cone 3 of the valve spindle and connected to it by a head screw 7. In the lower part of the Griffkap-> e 4 two axially extending, parallel strips 8 are arranged on the inside at a distance that allows the insertion of a pin 10, which is radially from the nozzle 9 of the valve

protrudes.
In the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the pin 10 is located between the two strips 8 and thus prevents rotation of the handle. If, on the other hand, the cap is put on after removing the screw 7 so that the pin 10 does not engage between the two strips 8, the handle can be turned almost by 3600, which in any case for such valves for the required opening or opening.
Closing is enough.
It goes without saying that the shape of the individual parts used can be changed in various ways without thereby deviating from the essence of the invention.
