Da überdies die Längsrichtung der Gewinde die Richtung der Holzfasern kreuzt, findet leicht ein Aussplittern der Gewindegänge statt.
Alle bisherigen Konstruktionen, welche diesen Übelständen abhelfen sollen, weisen Nachteile anderer Art auf.
