Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

  Behälter in Krukenform, insbesondere für alkoholische
Flüssigkeiten
 EMI1.1

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

   <Desc / Clms Page number 1>

  Jar-shaped containers, especially for alcoholic ones
liquids
 EMI1.1

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

   The base lacquer is usefully an adhesive lacquer, while the second lacquer layer is the actual top lacquer, which creates the tone-like appearance. The third layer is usefully a clear varnish of different tan. The three-layer coating applied in this way has proven to be particularly durable and resistant.

   The container according to the invention has the advantage that its production costs are below those of a normal jar made of clay, stoneware, porcelain or the like. Evaporation of the liquid through the wall of the container is impossible, since glass is absolutely gas-tight. The container can also be filled using automatic filling machines, since the container, like any glass bottle, can be manufactured to exact dimensions. The filling process is therefore considerably simplified and cheaper, and considerable labor is saved. In addition, loss of filling material due to the omission of jars that are not dimensionally accurate is avoided.

   The container according to the invention has the further advantage that on the outside it looks like a jar made of clay, stoneware or the like and can hardly be distinguished from such a jar on the outside. It can therefore be used above all where the buyer, because of the tasteful appearance and for reasons of habit, attaches great importance to having a vessel delivered that looks at least externally like a jar made of clay or stoneware. This is largely the case with Steinhäger, for example, but also with other alcoholic beverages such as liqueurs and other spirits.

   An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. The drawing shows a Steinhägerkruke on a reduced scale, with the lacquer marked a in the lower left corner, which can consist of one or more layers, and the uncut shell of the glass container that appears underneath is indicated at b in view.

   It goes without saying that the invention can be used not only with SteiIÙ1ägerkruken, but also with other jars made of clay, stoneware, porcelain or the like. The invention can also be used with jars of other shapes and finally it is also possible to apply the lacquer layer or layers instead of by dipping by spraying, spraying or the like, although the dipping process used according to the invention has proven to be particularly advantageous.

    PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Container in jar form, especially for alcoholic liquids, characterized in that the container in the form of a jar is made of glass, is provided on its entire outer surface with a single or multiple lacquer coating and the appearance of clay, stoneware due to the color and other properties of its surface , Porcelain or the like. Existing jar has.

Claims (1)
