Die Erfindung betrifft einen Behälter für pastenförmige Reinigungsmittel, wie Schuhpasta, Bodenpflegemittel u. dgl., bestehend aus einem einseitig offenen, das Reinigungsmittel aufnehmenden Hohlkörper, auf welchem ein Deckelteil passend aufsetzbar ist, der in seinem Inneren eine zur freien Oberseite des Reinigungsmittels weisende'Bürste od. dgl. trägt. Die Erfindung bezweckt, einen Behälter dieser Art so auszugestalten, dass insbesondere ein Schuhreinigungsbehelf mit Bürste und Nachfüllpatrone geschaffen wird, wobei aber dieser Behelf mit den gebräuchlichen Blechschachteln, denen eine lose Bürste zugegeben wird, preislich wettbewerbsfähig sein muss.
Besonderes Gewicht wird im Rahmen der Erfindung darauf gelegt, einen Behälter der angegebenen Art zu schaffen, in welchem das Pflegemittel, welches seiner Art nach in besonderem Masse zum Austrocknen neigt, sehr lange frisch bleibt, welche Aufgabe mit einfachen Mitteln gelöst werden muss.
Bei einem Behälter der eingangs genanntenArt kennzeichnet sich die Erfindung dadurch, dass der das Reinigungsmittel enthaltende zylindrische oder prismatische Hohlkörper eine Höhe aufweist, die nicht geringer ist als sein doppelter Durchmesser und dass das Reinigungsmittel mittels eines im genannten Hohlkörper, wie an sich bekannt, axial bewegbarenBodenteiles durch Fingerdruck gegen die Bürste vorschieb- bar ist, die auf einen gegenüber dem Hohlkörper verbreiterten und diesen lösbar umfassenden ringförmigen Übergangsteil abnehmbar sitzt.
Es ist hinreichend bekannt, dass ein wesentliches Problem jeder Schuhcremepackung die Vermeidung des vorzeitigen Austrocknens ist, was auch für die Verpackung von chemisch ähnlich beschaffenen andern Pflegemitteln der Fall ist. Bei gewöhnlichen Blechschachteln, wie sie für Schuhwichse viel in Gebrauch sind, tritt dieses Austrocknen hauptsächlich dadurch auf, dass sich die Schuhcreme, die einen scheibenförmigen Körper bildet, grossflächig der Luft darbietet. Diese grosse Fläche bekommt mit der Zeit Sprünge, die Paste zerbröckelt, man versucht zwar die Bröckchen mit der Bürste aufzunehmen, diese fallen aber meist wieder ab.
Im vorliegenden Fall ist die freie Oberfläche, welche sich der Luft darbietet, wesentlich kleiner, der nicht platten-, sondern bolzenförmige Pastenkörper unterliegt viel. weniger der Austrocknung und eine Luftzufuhr zwischen Behälter und Pastenkörper tritt, wie praktische Versuche gezeigt haben, wider Erwarten nicht ein, wenn der Wichsekörper die vorliegendenfalls angegebene Form aufweist. Dabei ist besonders zu beachten, dass jedes Vorschieben von Pasta den Pastenbolzen deformiert und so etwa entstandene feine Luftspalte wieder schliesst.
Ein anderes, für die praktische Brauchbarkeit des vorliegenden Behelfes wichtiges Merkmal besteht in der Verbreiterung des Übergangsteiles, der ausserdem von der Bürste lösbar ist. Diese Verbreiterung dient dazu, die Bürste in das Gerät nach beendetem Gebrauch desselben bequem einführen zu können. Die Bürste verbreitert sich nämlich mit der Zeit, indem ihre Borsten mehr und mehr klaffen. Wenn man nun eine solche Bürste im Gerät versorgen will und die Borsten sind breiter als die Öffnung, in die sie eingeführt werden sollen, so führt dies zu einem Ablagern von Paste an der Aussenseite des oberen Gehäuserandes und zu einem Übertragen von Schuhpasta auf die Hand und auf Gegenstände, wo sie nicht hingehört.
Auch das Merkmal, dass der Übergangsteil vom Hohlkörper lösbar sein soll, ist im Rahmen der Erfindung von Bedeutung. Man sollte zunächst meinen, dass man die Hülle und den Übergangsteil aus einem Stück macht, zumal hiefür ohnedies nur ein Spritzgussteil in Frage kommt. Es hat sich aber gezeigt, dass es viel günstiger ist, diese Teilung vorzunehmen, weil dann die Pflegemittelpatrone, welche ein Nachlieferungsartikel ist, eine verpackungsmässig günstige Form erhalten kann. Abdichtungsschwierigkeiten ergeben sich mit Bezug auf die eben erwähnten Teile, nämlich die Hülle und den Übergangsteil nicht,

wenn durch entsprechende gegenseitige Abstimmung der zusammenwirkenden Durchmesser und der zu verwendenden Kunststoffe für ein dauerndes Dichthalten gesorgt wird.
In der schematischen Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel eines erfindangsgemässen Behälters in.
Ansicht und im Vertikalschnitt dargestellt. Der Behälter 1, zweckmässig von rohrförmiges Querschnitt, ist beidseitig offen und besitzt einen eine Standfläche bildenden Flansch 2. Der Bodenteil 3 ist im Rohr 1 gleitbar ; er besteht aus einem hohlzylindrischen Teil 4 mit nach einwärts gestülptem Boden 5, der einen nach aussen vorgezogenen Napf 6 bildet. Die Aussenwandung des Teiles 4 besitzt aus einem noch zu erläu- terndenGrund eine sägezahnförmige Profilierung 8 mit nach unten weisenden Zahnspitzen, me Füllung 7 des Behälters 1 besteht im dargestellten Beispiel aus Schuhcreme.

einander verdrehbar und voneinander leicht trennbar sind.
Bei Benützung des so weit beschriebenen Arbeitsbehelfes wird wie folgt vorgegangen :
Man schiebt die Füllung 10 durch Fingerdruck auf den Bodennapf 6 vor, so dass Berührung mit der Bürste 11 eintritt. Der Griffteil wird sodann mitsamt der Bürste 11 im Sitz 14 verdreht, wodurch das Pflegemittel auf die Bürste übertragen wird ; wenn man nun die Bürste vom Übergangsteil14 abheBt, kann man damit das Pflegemittel auf dem Schuh verstreichen. Der nicht verbrauchte Pastenrest kann auf dei Bürste verbleiben ; er trocknet nach Aufsetzen der Bürste auf den Satz 14 nicht ein.
Der Bodenteil 3 ergibt dann eine besonders gute Dichtung, wenn die vorhin erwähnten Dichtungsrippen 8 ausgeführt werden. Der topfartig eingezogene Teil 5 bezweckt ; eine geringfügige Deformation des gesamten Bodenteiles 3 in der Weise zu ermöglichen, dass bei Druck mit dem Finger auf den Napf 6 der Mantelteil 4 an dem dem Boden benachbarten Bereich verengt wird, was die Reibung zwischen Bodenteil 3 und Behälter 1 herabsetzt, d. h. das Vorschieben des Bodens erleichtert :.
Sobald die Füllung 7 des Behälters 1 verbraucht ist, wird der Behälter 1 vom Übergangsteil 12 entfernt und durch einen neuen, vollen Behälter ersetzt.
An Stelle der Bürste, die übrigens jede dem besonderen Verwendungszweck gut entsprechende Form und Beschaffenheit erhalten kann, können auch andere Auftragsbehelfe, z. B. Idssenartige Körper treten.
Ferner ist ersichtlich, dass die vorliegende Vorrichtung nicht unbedingt auf zylindrische Behälter 1 angewiesen ist ; jeder hohlprismatische Körper kann Anwendung finden.
Es kann gezeigt werden, dass der Nachfüllbehälter billiger herstellbar ist, als eine gebräuchliche Blechschachtel mit Deckel und Behelfen zur Öffnung des Deckels. Im Gegensatz zur Benützung von Blechschachteln, die, wenn sie einigermassen dicht schliessen sollen, unbequem zu öffnen sind, ist der vorliegende Behälter sehr bequem und reinlich zu handhaben und gewährt einen bedeutend besseren Schutz vor dem Austrocknen der Reinigungspaste.
Als Material für den vorliegenden Behälter eignen sich am besten billige thermoplastische Kunststoffe, wie z. B. Hart-PVC, obgleich es auch erwägenswert ist, mindestens die Teile grosser Lebensdauer aus thermohärtenden Kunststoffen herzustellen.
Der vorliegende, insbesondere für Schuhpaste bestimmte Behälter, der in an sich bekannter Weise mit einer Auftragsbürste kombiniert ist, lässt sich billig herstellen, ist praktisch zu handhaben, schützt die Paste vor dem Austrocknen und beschmutzt den Benützer nicht. Ein zusätzlicher Vorteil ist, dass die Ersatzpatrone denkbar einfach und sauber gegen die verbrauchte Patrone getauscht werden kann.
PATENTANSPRÜCHE.
1. Behälter für pastenförmige Reinigungsmittel, wie Schuhpasta, Bodenpfsgemittel u. dgl., bestehend aus einem einseitig offenen, das Reirigungsmittel aufnehmenden Hohlkörper, auf welchen ein Deckelteil passend aufsetzbar ist, der in seinem Inneren eine zur freien Oberseite des Reinigungsmittels weisende Bürste od. dgl. trägt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der das Reinigungsmittel (7) enthaltende zylindrische oder prismatische Hohlkörper (1) eine Höhe aufweist, die nicht geringer ist als sein doppelter Durchmesser und dass dasReinigungsmittel mittels eines im genannten HoNk8Epa :
