Electromagnet, in particular release magnet

An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the drawing. The figures show: FIG. 1 the electromagnet partly in view, partly in section and FIG. 2 the electromagnet in FIG
Section along line A - B of FIG.
The double-armed armature 1 of a release magnet is rotatably mounted in the axis 3 and is designed as an armature nose 6 on the arm that actuates the timer. Before the armature closing movement, this armature nose 6 rests directly between the leg 2 of the fixed magnet part held together by the side plates 4 and the extension 7 formed from this leg 2. Here, the armature below and radially to its axis 3 and the magnet leg 2 at its end opposite the armature are formed into a narrow web 5 and this web 5, which can also advantageously consist of a ferromagnetic material with a pronounced saturation kink, on its The end is designed in such a way that a pan-shaped air gap 9, which is independent of the armature movement in terms of its size, results.
At the point where the leg merges into the web, the protruding leg cross-section is formed into a bevel 8 at a relatively large distance from the anchor.
If the armature begins to attract upon excitation, an additional air gap, which is dependent in its size on the armature movement, is formed between armature nose 6 and leg 2 of the fixed magnet part with its attachment 7. The flow that passes through this air gap at the beginning of the armature closing movement is without its To change the size significantly, pushed into the web and from a definable anchor position only flow over the web 5, which, however, is quickly saturated because of its small cross section. As a result, the magnetic resistance and thus also the force acting on the timer or the release element remains practically constant along the armature's working path.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Electromagnet, in particular release magnet, with a working air gap and an air gap that is independent of the size of the armature movement, characterized in that parallel to the air gap (9) which is independent of the size of the armature movement, an additional size of
EMI2.1
Armature closing movement is closed by the armature nose (6) resting on the leg (2) and shoulder (7) and thus short-circuits the independent air gap (9).
