Device for comminuting food and feed
The invention relates to a device for crushing food and feed, e.g. B. beets, in which the beater bars are fastened by means of wedges in the grooves of a rotor, the housing being designed like a funnel above the comminution zone. In such devices, it is already known to design the beater bars like a rack and to assign them on the housing similarly shaped Gei counter beater bars. These known shredding devices have a crushing, mucking effect, so that a pulpy shredded product is formed which, for. B. as feed from the
Animals are not always gladly accepted.
The aim of the invention is to achieve that more small-sized grist can be obtained by comminuting devices of the type mentioned above, which cattle like to eat and which are also very digestible for them. This is achieved according to the invention in that the individual, successive rack-like beater bars protrude differently from the rotor, with at least one beater bar, being the furthest protruding, protruding with the tooth gap base over the rotor casing and the beater bars at the narrowest point of the rotor in a known manner down to wedge-shaped narrowing feed space, d. i. Running just below the center of the rotor between the rotor and the housing, parallel to the rotor axis, a counter-blow bar with the same profile as the blow bars faces on the housing side.
Above the shredding zone or counterbeat bar, further strips are arranged on the housing wall, which allow the material to be shredded, e.g. B. beets, other tubers, corn on the cob and. Like .. prevent or limit in particular by twisting.
The drawing represents an example of execution of the rotor including blow bar, u. between in Fig. 1 in side view and in section and in Fig. 2 on a larger scale in longitudinal section.
The shredding device consists essentially of the cylindrical rotor 1, which has grooves 2 running along its generators, in which blow bars 4 are releasably attached by wedges 3, which have roughly the shape of a toothed rack and interact with a similarly shaped counter-strike bar. The blow bars arranged on the rotor 1, for example two in the embodiment shown, protrude from the rotor 1 to different lengths, with at least one blow bar protruding the furthest. protrudes with the tooth gap base beyond the rotor shell.
The counter-strike strips 4, for example only one strip in the embodiment shown, is the narrowest
Place of the supply space, which narrows in a known manner down to a funnel-shaped way, between
Rotor 1 and housing 5, running parallel to the rotor axis, are arranged just below the center of the rotor on the housing wall. The teeth of the blow bars knock out small pieces from the beets and create groove-like furrows in the beets, whereby the loosened pieces are only slightly squeezed and are therefore soft, juicy and very digestible. The beets are spread over their entire length, i.e. by those strips that also protrude with the tooth root or tooth base over the rotor casing. H. whole surface in the
Reduced cross-sectional area.
The housing 5 runs obliquely inward with respect to the part 6 ′ following the highest point 6 of the rotor 1 in the direction of rotation, delimiting a downwardly funnel-shaped space and in the wall area 5 ′, above the comminution zone, has parallel to the rotor generating Ribs or protruding strips 7 or the like. The beet or the like thrown into the housing and falling into the funnel space above the comminution zone are pressed into the funnel space 5 ', 6' by the rotating beater bars 4. parts of the beets are knocked out. In this case, evasive movements of the beets, which rotate about their axis and want to go up on the housing wall 5, are prevented by the strips 7 attached to the housing wall.
The measures according to the invention result in rapid and perfect, lumpy comminution

of the good achieved. The comminution device designed in this way can be used universally, in particular for a wide variety of food and feed.
