Correction of patent specification No. 20807.
The spelling of the patent proprietor's name is corrected as follows: Haczewski.
EMI1.1
The present invention relates to a device for cleaning boiler foucr tubes. It consists of a suction nozzle-like piece of pipe that can be connected to the individual fire pipes, around the outer mouth of which a steam flow can be directed that can be shut off by a valve, the suction of which creates an air flow inside the fire pipe that is sufficient to remove all the impurities in the pipe.
The drawing illustrates the subject matter of the invention in longitudinal section.
The pipe section a designed as a suction nozzle is provided with a thread b, by means of which it can be connected to the fire pipe to be cleaned. A second thread c is used to screw on the housing d, in which the pipe section a is held centered by the ring f provided with holes e. The valve housing y for the valve i, which can be lifted by a hand lever, is seated on the housing d. which the opening; of the nozzle housing usually keeps closed. The valve housing 9 can through

which is sufficient to remove the ashes and coal residues from the fire tube in a few seconds, no matter how caked they are.
A jet pipe can be screwed onto the thread 1, which is located at the outlet opening of the housing d, and is directed accordingly so that the ash and fuel residues thrown out reach their destination without damaging anything.
The use of this device enables very significant time savings, since the cleaning of a boiler equipped, for example, with 180 fire tubes, requires a maximum of one hour.
