Fig. 2 im Grundriss und
Fig. 3 in Seitenansicht.

Weighing machine.
The present invention relates to a device which is applicable to any type of package machine, such. n. on machines that are used in the tobacco factory to check the weight of packages. It is achieved with the same that the parcels, which have exactly the desired weight, are transported by the machine into a container or to another specific place, while such parcels, which have a lesser or greater weight, fall into a special channel, to be treated anew.
The machine shown in the drawing is a double machine and is used to weigh two tobacco packets alternately. However, according to the same principle, a single-acting machine can be built with just one scale instead of two.
Fig. 1 shows a machine according to the present invention in front view,
Fig. 2 in plan and
3 in side view.
Fig. 4 shows another side view in which the front part of the frame and the corresponding part of the machine drive device are removed.
Fig. 5 is a side view of a toilet of the machine on an enlarged scale.
Fig. 6 is a plan view of this part, but with the scale pan and Dec1; : omit the plate.
Fig. 7, H, t) and 10 sinù a side view with partial section and a front view of one of the WagecinrUcl {vorric1Jtungen in the stop position respectively. in the working position.
It is sufficient to describe one half of the machine shown in the drawing, since the other half of the machine is identical because of the symmetrical design.
The tobacco packets to be weighed arrive one after the other on the curved surface of the support plate 1 and are conveyed from here by the oscillating piece 3 onto the weighing pan or plate 2. With a double machine, as shown in the drawing

conveyed to the left wagon plate by means of the oscillating piece 3.
The scale is regulated in such a way that when the package has exactly its weight, the plate 2 does not suffer any vertical adjustment. The package then arrives under the action of the car. ? 3 carried swinging knife 12 on the rotatable about the axis 5 table 4. This rests at its other end on a swinging support 6. From the table 4, the package arrives on the inclined discharge table 7, which conveys it out of the machine.
If, on the other hand, the weight of the package is too low or too great, the Wngptatto 2 will rise or fall. The free end of the Wagohalkens S here

original location back. The counterweight (FIG. 3), the downward movement of which is regulated by the stop screw 35, serves to return the end of the lever 6 under the table 4.
The parts of the machine described below only have the purpose of bringing about the movements of the parts mentioned and of ensuring the work process.
Near the center of the main shaft of the machine is a cylindrical collar 15 which is provided with a helical groove on its surface. In this the lower end of the lever 17 is guided. The latter is rotatably mounted on the pin 18 and carries the oscillating piece 3. When the shaft 14 and the collar 15 rotate, the piece 3 is set in an oscillating motion which is used to move the tobacco packets onto the carriage plates 2.

which is intended to swing its corresponding angle lever 20 with the required deflection. The angle levers 20 are mounted in a threatening manner on the axis 21 (FIG. 4) and, by means of their upper end, through the intermediary of the lever 22, regulate the engagement device of the balance described below (FIGS. 7-10).
The thumb disks 23 (FIG. 3), which serve to set the three-armed levers 39 in vibration, are also arranged on the shaft 14. These levers are subject to the action of springs 24 (FIG. 3) which regulate the reciprocating movement of the slides 13 carrying the knives 12.
The engagement device consists, as shown in FIGS. 7, 8, 9 and 10, of two horizontal rods 25, 26 fastened on vortical sliders 27, 28. The former can be inserted into guides in plate 2. 9 (FIGS. 8 and 10). be moved. The perpendicular distance between the horizontal bars 25, 26 changes when they pass from the position shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 to that shown in FIGS. 9 and 10 and vice versa. In the former position, the horizontal bars 25, 26 fix the balance beam 8 by grasping the bolt 30 seated on the latter between them. The transition from the rest position (FIGS. 7, 8) to the working position (FIGS. 9, 10) takes place automatically through the action of the angle lever 20 on the handle lever 22, which acts on the piece 31 on the one hand.
This is connected to the handle 22 and forms a fixed angle a with the axis thereof (FIGS. 8 and 10). The movement of the handle in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 8), which is carried out when the balance is to come into action, releases the bolt 30 in that the piece 31 rotates with its axis of rotation 40 and therefore the slide 27 lifts and that Slider 28 lowers, taking rods 25 and 26 with them.
The spring 32 (FIGS. 5 and 6) serves to return the apparatus to the rest position as soon as the lever 20 has been adjusted in the opposite direction under the influence of the spring 33.
The operation of the machine is regulated in such a way that the balance beam 8 is engaged when the tobacco package is conveyed onto the weighing pan and is clamped again as soon as the knife 12 has conveyed the package over the weighing pan, namely to avoid any excessive contact between the Arms 8 and the clamps 37, 38 to prevent.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Weighing machine for checking the weight of tobacco packages produced in package machines u. The like., characterized in that the packages conveyed by a swinging lever (3) from a support plate (1) to a weighing pan (2) and instructing the desired weight do not produce a deflection of the weighing pan, then via a movable table (4) and a discharge table (7) have been conveyed out of the machine, while those packages that are too large or too light bring about a lowering or lifting of the weighing pan and consequently cause an automatic lowering of the table (4) in such a way,
that the packages guided over the lowered table are directed to another point of the machine.
