Das wesentliche Merkmal des neuen Stammhalters besteht darin, dass statt der Durch- tritts1lffnung fUr das eine Bandende in gleicher Entfernung von den Einstecköffnungen filr die Bandfeder entgegengesetzt verlaufende Schlitze im Bande angeordnet sind, welche beim Montieren des Baumstammhalters übereinander greifen.
Bei den schon bekannten Konstruktionen wird der durch die Öffnung geführte Bandteil nicht direkt am Baum befestigt und kann sich, da ein Haltepunkt nicht vorhanden ist, von vorn nach rückwärts frei verschieben. Hieraus folgt, dass der Grad des Anziehens um den Stammhalter abhängig ist vom Anziehen um den Baumstamm und umgekehrt.
