I gegeneinander gedrückt werden.

Metalldraht, Holzstüchen u. dgl.

Device for pulling out individual hairs, wires or the like from bundles.
The object of the invention is a device for pulling out individual hairs, wires or the like from bundles which have been arranged in the shape of a three-sided prism by inserting them into an acute angle formed from two hard boundary surfaces.
The new thing is that the vertex of that corner also serves as a gripping organ. If you do not just put the hair bundle loosely into the corner for the purpose of tidying it up, but press it in with a certain amount of force, the hair that is closest to the apex is clamped and you can move it away.

pull out the latter.

shown.
In Fig. 1 and 2, w is the elbow, by means of which the hair bundle a assumes the shape of a three-sided prism by simply inserting it. This process is supported by the jig c, which consists of a v-like angle piece and a horizontal plate, which has an opening for partial insertion of the

he clamps the hair immediately lying at b and it can, by the angle; r is removed from the jig c, pulled out.
In order to be able to effect the pressing in of the hair bundle more easily and the clamping of the lowest hair more securely than is the case with the rigid angle according to FIGS. 1 and 2, in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 3, 4 and r) the legs of the Angle w movably arranged. They are formed from plates e, which grip one another like scissors, are rotatably fastened on the pin f and by leaf springs! I pressed against each other. The clamping edges of the angle legs can be finely toothed or roughened to increase the clamping effect.
The embodiment shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 arose from the same endeavors. Here is the angle te? formed by the peripheries of touching circular disks h. After the hair bundle is pressed in, these disks are twisted together until the bottom hair is securely clamped. This rotation can be brought about by the tie rods i and the spring-loaded lever k. Here, too, the disks A can be roughened around their circumference.
FIGS. 8 and 9 show an embodiment of the present invention in which the angle w is formed by the lateral surfaces of two cones l touching one another with their largest diameters. After the hair bundle is pressed in, the cones become in

Devices of the type described above find practical use, for example, on mechanical hair looms. They are arranged so that they pull out individual hairs from the presented hair bundle and the well-known mouth shooter

to hand over. The devices according to FIGS. 1 to 7 can also be attached directly to the shooter or to an entry rod pushed through the compartment. But the new device is not only suitable for processing hair or bristles, but also for processing any other type of materials presented in bundles, e.g. B.

PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Device for pulling out individual hairs, wires or the like from bundles, which means that there is an acute angle formed from two hard boundary surfaces for arranging the hair bundle to form a three-sided prism, characterized in that the apex of this corner piece itself serves as a gripping organ, in that the hair bundle is pressed between the angled legs, whereby the hair located at the apex of the angle is clamped firmly and pulled out of the latter when the angle piece moves away from the held bundle.
