Hotplate The invention relates to a hotplate in which the perforated plate cut out of the fire hole is used as a perforated lid, and consists in the fact that the edge zone of both the fire hole and the perforated lid is stepped off by compression deformation. The thickness of the stepped pressing in of the edge of the hole and the edge of the hole cover is half the wall thickness of the hob.
This embodiment of a hotplate according to the invention means that the previously customary welding of ring segments on the underside of the edge of the hole is no longer necessary. When pressing in the stepped edge deposits, material compression and material flow occur at the same time. The edge of the hole on the fire side becomes much more resistant due to the material compression. As a result of the fact that there are no longer any protruding ribs below the edge of the hole, there is a better heat flow in the plate. In the case of smaller one-piece panels, the previous twisting off of the edge of the hole for supporting the cover is no longer necessary. There is no longer any material waste.
In the case of a plate slotted radially to the fire hole, there is also the advantage that the cover rods welded on the underside along a slot edge can only be guided up to the edge of the hole.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is shown, for example, u. Between Fig. 1 shows a cross section through the fire hole of the plate and through the perforated cover obtained in the cutout before the press deformation, Fig. 2 shows a cross section through the fire hole and through the perforated cover
EMI1.1
after the edge deformation and FIG. 3 shows a cross section through the support point of the perforated cover on the edge of the fire hole with a cover profile rod as used for a radial slot in the plate that extends up to the edge of the hole.
After the perforated cover 3 has been cut out of the hotplate 1, the outer edge zone of the perforated cover and the edge zone of the cut-out fire hole 2 are stepped together to half the hotplate thickness by means of a pressing tool.
Due to the flow of material occurring during the pressing process, the cross section of both the edge of the hole and the outer edge of the perforated cover has a step shape 4, 5.
After turning the cover around 1800, it can now be placed with its upper step flange 5 on the lower step flange of the edge of the hole. As can be seen from FIG. 3, provided the hotplate has radial slots reaching up to the ring hole, the cover rods 6 for these slots can be guided up to the edge of the hole 4.
