Photographic camera with a depth of field indicating device coupled to the diaphragm
The present invention relates to a photographic camera with a depth of field indicator which is coupled to the lens diaphragm and which is adjustable with respect to the distance scale and which has display curves which run obliquely to the distance scale. These display curves show the respective depth of field on the distance scale.
In the previously known cameras of this type, there is. Depth of field indicator consisting of a ring, which is arranged on the lens mount and is axially movable depending on the aperture adjustment, with curved edges that protrude outward on the ring.
The ring is located under the support of the distance scale and, with a protruding part lying between the two curved edges, protrudes more or less far below the support of the learning scale in accordance with the respective diaphragm adjustment.
Such depth of field indicators are associated with the disadvantage that reading off the displayed depth of field is relatively complicated.
In order to avoid these disadvantages, the depth of field limiting edges are immovably arranged on the camera in the depth of field display device according to the invention, a display sleeve coupled to the lens diaphragm, preferably provided with a colored ring, being moved below them in the direction of the optical axis. The delimiting edges protruding from the locking part fixed to the camera can lie above the display sleeve, which is movable in the axial direction, and the meter scale band. The delimiting edges protruding on the locking part fixed to the camera can, however, also engage between the display sleeve, which is movable in the axial direction, and the meter scale band.
In particular, the display sleeve can also be movably arranged on the locking part that is fixed to the camera, the coupling to the objective diaphragm being effected via an intermediate member.
According to a further feature of the invention, it is also possible that the meter scale band which grips over the depth of field limiting edges on the locking part fixed to the camera and the display sleeve with colored ring is gripped in such a way that when the distance is set, the hiking mark can be read on the limiting edges through the meter scale tape made of transparent material he follows. The meter scale band can be provided with an inner bead and be mounted on the focusing ring by means of a screw connection in such a way that the securing tab, which extends through a recess in the meter scale band, prevents misalignment of the meter scale band.
The meter scale ring can be manufactured as a tube or band and can be exchanged, wherein the numbers arranged on the meter scale band for the purpose of distance adjustment can also be raised.
Further features of the subject matter of the invention emerge from the following description of embodiments of the invention. As can be seen from this description, the object of the invention is associated with the advantage of a very easy and reliable recognizability of the depth of field display and with the advantage of an extremely simple, space-saving and universally usable construction.
The above embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings, for example. FIG. 1 shows an interchangeable lens mount for a photographic camera with the depth of field indicator according to the invention partly in a view, partly in section, FIG. 2 shows parts of the object of FIG. 1 in a perspective, exploded view, and FIG.
3 shows another embodiment of the article according to the invention, partly in view, partly in section.
In FIGS. 1 to 3, the same parts are provided with the same reference numerals.
The mount of the interchangeable lens has a coupling ring 1 with which it is attached to a photographic camera, not shown.

can be set and locked with the camera like a bayonet. On the coupling ring 1 there is a knurled ring 2, which is used to make it easier to attach the lens to the camera, and a fixed mark 3 for setting the distance. The optical elements of the objective (not shown in the drawing) are arranged in a known manner within a common carrier 4.
In Figs. 1 and 2, the meter scale 5 is engraved in the focusing ring 6, the projections 6a of which for easier setting of the desired distance value on the fixed

Milled guide curves 7c, in which three pins 8a of the indicator sleeve 8, also offset by 1200, engage. The upper edge of the indicator sleeve 8 is provided with a colored ring which runs parallel to the meter scale. A pin 8b engages in a slot 9b of the diaphragm adjusting ring 9 which is attached in a tab 9a and is parallel to the optical axis.
The diaphragm adjusting ring 9 is arranged between the depth of field limiting ring 7 and the camera-fixed locking part 1 and has a connecting member 9c, which engages in the diaphragm mechanism, not shown, and a connecting member 9d, which cooperates with the light value coupling fixed to the camera. The depth of field limiting ring 7 is firmly connected to the camera-fixed locking part 1 by screws 7 d, 2a.
To set a desired distance, the corresponding number on the meter scale 5 is set to the fixed mark 3.
To set the aperture or the desired light value, the aperture setting ring 9 is turned. As a result of the connection of the display sleeve 8 to the diaphragm setting ring 9 by the pin 8b, which is guided into the slot 9b, the display sleeve 8 is rotated when the diaphragm setting ring 9 is rotated. Since the indicator sleeve 8, on the other hand, is guided by its pin 8a in the curves 7c of the fixed depth of field limiting ring, a rotation of the diaphragm setting ring 9 automatically causes an axial displacement of the indicator sleeve 8. The colored upper edge of the indicator sleeve 8 cuts the depth of field limiting edges depending on the size of this axial movement 7a, 7b in different points.
The numerical values of the meter scale 5 associated with these intersection points indicate the upper and lower value of the depth of field effective at the set distance and aperture.
Another embodiment of the object according to the invention is shown in FIG. Here the meter scale band S is made of transparent material and pushed over the display sleeve 8 and the depth of field limiting ring 7. To a

a bead 5a engages in the focusing ring 6. In addition, the meter scale tape 5 is mounted in the focusing ring 6 by a screw ring connection 10 in such a way that the securing tab 6b engaging through a recess 5b in the meter scale tape 5 prevents misalignment of the meter scale tape 5. This arrangement enables the meter scale tape 5 to be replaced.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3

8a of the display sleeve 8 not by curves in the depth of field limiting ring 7, but by guidance in a special curve sleeve 11, which in turn is connected to the diaphragm setting ring 9.
When using a transparent meter scale 5, it is also possible not to make the numerical values recognizable by engraving or coloring, but rather to make them raised. The function of the depth of field display device is otherwise the same as in the first embodiment.
Of course, the depth of field display device according to the invention can be attached not only to the locking part of interchangeable lenses that is fixed to the camera, but also directly to the camera housing.
