Abflussvorrichtung für Darmbadapparate
Die bisherigen Darmbadapparatebrachten auf diesem Gebiet kaum etwas besonders Zweckmässiges. Da a diese Apparate bisher fast nur in Anstalten aufgestellt wurden, baute man gleichzeitig auch den Abfluss entsprechend stark dimensioniert. Somit erübrigte sich meistens eine besondere Vorrichtung zwecks Verhinderung von Verstopfungen. Die vorhandenen meistens leeren Abflussbehälter dienten nur dem Druckausgleich. Die vorliegende Neuerung eignet sich besonders für einen leicht transportablen, überall verwendbaren subaqualenDarmbadapparat, der auch in einer Badewanne mit schwach dimensioniertem Abfluss verwendet werden kann.
Fig. l zeigt die Vorrichtung im Schnitt, Fig. 2 den Grundriss unterhalb der Linie a-b. Die Vorrichtung besteht aus einem zylindrischen Gefäss 1, welches, am Boden leicht trichterartig verjüngt, in den Abfluss der Badewanne einmündet. Der Behälter wird mittels zweier Federn, welche vom oberen Rand des Führungsrohres 8 abgehen, mittels aschen am Wannenrand festgehalten und mittels Moosgummidichtung am Ablauf der Wanne gedichtet. Einige cm über dem Boden befindet sich eine mit Löchern versehene Platte 4, über welcher an einer zentralen Achse 6 ein Schaufelpaar 5 drehbar angeordnet ist. Die Achse ragt aus dem im Deckel 2 befestigten Führungsrohr 8 nach aussen und wird mittels Handkurbel 7 bei Bedarf zeitweilig betätigt.
Die Schaufeln 5 sind in einem Winkel von ca. 450 gegen die Achse geneigt angeordnet, der in der Drehrichtung offen ist. Vom Deckel 2 des Gefässes her ragt das Rohr 10, dessen Ende etwas schräg der Drehrichtung der Schaufeln entgegengerichtet ist, bis knapp über den oberen Rand der Schaufeln. Der aus diesem Rohr spritzende Wasserstrahl ist ungefähr auf die Stelle unterhalb des Abflussrohres 3 gerichtet. Die auf dieser Stelle der durchlöcherten Bodenplatte 4 sich ansammelnden Massen werden von den sich drehenden schrägen Schaufeln 5 durch die Löcher gedrückt und zerkleinert, wobei der durch das schräge Ende deb Rohres spritzende scharfe Wasserstrahl die Massen den Schaufeln entgegentreibt, verdünnt und wegspült.
Diese Einrichtung, die nur ab und zu betätigt werden muss, verhindert eine Verstopfung der Abflussleitung so gründlich, dass der Apparat bedenkenlos in jeder Badewanne mit kleinem Abfluss verwendet werden kann.
Der Behälter dient zugleich als Druckausgleich.
PATENTANSPRÜCHE :
1. Abflussvorrichtung für Darmbadapparate, bestehend aus einem in den Abfluss mündenden als Druckausgleich dienenden Behälter (1), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass am unseen Ende des Behälters eine Siebplatte (4) angeordnet ist, über der ein Schaufelrad liegt, welches von aussen drehbar ist und mit seinen zur Ebene der Siebplatte (4) schräg gestellten Schaufeln (5) über die Siehplatte hinwegstreicht, derart,. dass es dabei die angesammelten Exkremente durch die Löcher der Siebplatte drückt.

The previous intestinal bathing devices hardly brought anything particularly useful in this area. Since these devices have so far only been installed in institutions, the drain was also built with correspondingly large dimensions. Thus, a special device for preventing clogging is mostly unnecessary. The existing mostly empty drainage containers were only used to equalize the pressure. The present innovation is particularly suitable for an easily transportable, universally usable subaqual intestinal bath apparatus, which can also be used in a bathtub with a poorly dimensioned drain.
Fig. 1 shows the device in section, Fig. 2 shows the plan below the line a-b. The device consists of a cylindrical vessel 1, which tapers slightly like a funnel at the bottom and opens into the drain of the bathtub. The container is held by means of two springs, which extend from the upper edge of the guide tube 8, held by ash on the edge of the tub and sealed by means of a foam rubber seal at the drain of the tub. A few cm above the ground there is a plate 4 provided with holes, above which a pair of blades 5 is rotatably arranged on a central axis 6. The axis protrudes outward from the guide tube 8 fastened in the cover 2 and is temporarily actuated by means of a hand crank 7 if necessary.
The blades 5 are inclined at an angle of approximately 450 to the axis, which is open in the direction of rotation. From the lid 2 of the vessel, the tube 10 protrudes, the end of which is slightly oblique to the direction of rotation of the blades, to just above the upper edge of the blades. The water jet spraying out of this pipe is directed approximately at the point below the drain pipe 3. The masses that accumulate at this point of the perforated base plate 4 are pressed through the holes by the rotating inclined blades 5 and crushed, the sharp water jet spraying through the inclined end of the pipe driving the masses towards the blades, diluting and flushing them away.
This device, which only needs to be operated from time to time, prevents the drain line from becoming blocked so thoroughly that the device can be used without hesitation in any bathtub with a small drain.
The container also serves as a pressure compensation.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1.
