Process for the production of molds according to the natural product.
The present invention relates to a method for the production of molds, including not a specially made model, but the natural product, such. B. a plant or an animal is used.
The procedure is as follows:
The natural product is placed, placed or hung in a molding box accordingly. Made from a mixture of materials known in foundry technology, namely 11/2 parts of gypsum or alabaster fired several times, 1 part of ground quartz, 1 part
EMI1.1
Add to this the materials that have not yet been used for molding purposes, namely 1 part slate flour, 1 part silica and 1 part bolus, the addition of water creates a correspondingly thick liquid due to the slate flour content. Silica and bolus prepared extremely quickly solidifying mass. This mass is slowly in the form
EMI1.2
to include at the top. A pouring hole is provided. After the mass has solidified, but not yet hardened, the molding box is removed.
A flat object or the like is knocked on the still soft form in order to expel the internal moisture and with it any air bubbles that may have formed inside. After this has been done, the shaped piece is brought into the antechamber of an aluminum furnace to allow it to dry out completely. As soon as the fitting has become air-dry, it is placed in a muffle furnace in order to burn out the natural model when the heat is correspondingly high. After this and after the mold has cooled down, the ash residues left in the mold are sucked off by an exhaustor or the like and removed from the mold.
In the molding compound, the natural product is now depicted in exactly the same way. molded as it was in reality in nature. After the natural product has burned out, the exact form of the product remains. To clean the dust, mercury is now allowed to pass through the mold.
A solid form, ready for casting, has now been created, which reproduces a cast exactly from nature. Depending on now Gussmatorialien such. B. lead, gold or silver are used, the mold is heated more or less for casting. The casting material intended for filling is injected into it to let the air escape.
Now that the casting has cooled down, the molding material, which can always be reused, is removed from the casting by means of a water jet, as this has the property of dissolving again in the water after it has been fired to a solid mass in the furnace.
