Der Antrieb der   Quertransportwa. gene : folgt zweckmässig   durch eine davon unabhängige Antriebsvorrichtung, die mit 21 angedeutet ist. 



   Mit der erfindungsgemässen Quertransporteinrichtung besitzt man eine grosse Freizügigkeit in der Zusammenstellung der Kokillenwagengruppen. Beispielsweise kann ein Gleiskörper in der Giesshalle und ein anderer in der Stripperhalle verlaufen. Selbstverständlich können auch mehrere Längsgleiskörper vorhanden sein und die   Quertransporte zwischen   mehreren solcher Längsstrecken durchgeführt werden.
