Belüftungsrotor für Flüssigkeiten bestehend aus einer horizontalen Welle und darauf über ihre ganze Länge radial oder annähernd radial angeordneten, teilweise in die Flüssigkeit tauchenden Belüftungselementen, insbesondere zur Grundwasserbelüftung und zur Abwasserreinigung nach dem Schlammbelebungsverfahren, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf der Rotorwelle eine Vielzahl im Abstand voneinander stehender gleicher stabförmiger, durch die Flüssigkeit hindurchdrehender Belüftungselemente von W-förmi- gen, wellenförmigen oder vogelflugartigen Profilen befestigt ist, die durch ihre Profilform und/oder besondere Störkörper beim Durchlauf durch die Flüssigkeit Saugwirbel erzeugen.
