  Verfahren zur Herstellung von lichtechten Farblacken. 



   Über die Verwendbarkeit von   Monozaofarbstoffen aus &alpha;-Naphtolsulfosäuren   für die Darstellung von   Farbtacken   lagen bisher noch keine Literaturangaben vor. Da fast sämtliche in letzter Zeit, bekannt gewordenen Patente für die Darstellung von   Farblacken   die Verwendung von ss-Naphtolfarbstoffen und nur einige wenige diejenige von Farbstoffen aus Sulfosiiuren des   -Naphtols     vorschreiben, nicht dagegen diejenige von Farbstoffen aus &alpha;-Naphtol-   sulfosäuren, so war man offehbar der Ansicht, dass nur die ss-Naphtolfarbstoffe zur Bildung brauchbarer   Farhlaclw   geeignet wären.

   Es wurde nun die Beobachtung gemacht, dass der Monoazofarbstoff aus o-Diazobenzoesäure und 1-Naphtol-3-6-disulfosäure sich schr gut für die   Lackfarbonfabrikation   eignet, indem derselbe Farblacke von grosser Lichtechtheit liefert. 



    Die 80 erhaltenen Farblacke   sind z. B. erheblich lichtechter wie die entsprechenden in der deutschen Patentschrift Nr. 141257 beschriebenen Lacke des Farbstoffes aus diazotierter o-Amidobenzoesäureund2-Naphtol-3-6-disulfosäure.

 Pate von Tonerdohydrat mit Wasser hergostollt ist. Das so erhaltene Gemisch wird mit einer 5%igen Chlorbaryumlösung bis zur Beendigung der   Ausfällung   des Farbstoffes versetzt.   Der Niederschlag wird darauf filtriert, ausgewaschen   und getrocknet und der Lack in   üblicher   Weise fertig gemacht. Derselbe zeigt eine lebhafte rote Nuance. 



   Man   kann selbstverständlich   an Stelle des im Beispiel beschriebenen Verfahrens   auch   irgendeine andere der in der Pigmentfarbenfabrikation üblichen Lackbildungsmethoden   anwenden.

   As yet, no literature has been published on the use of monozao dyes made from α-naphthol sulfonic acids for the representation of color spots. Since almost all of the recently known patents for the preparation of color lakes prescribe the use of β-naphthol dyes and only a few that of dyes from sulfosyl acids of -naphtol, but not that of dyes from α-naphthol-sulfonic acids one evidently of the opinion that only the s-naphthol dyes would be suitable for the formation of useful colors.

   The observation has now been made that the monoazo dye made from o-diazobenzoic acid and 1-naphthol-3-6-disulfonic acid is extremely suitable for the manufacture of varnish dyes, in that the same varnish gives high lightfastness.



    The 80 colored lakes obtained are z. B. considerably more lightfast than the corresponding lacquers of the dye from diazotized o-amidobenzoic acid and 2-naphthol-3-6-disulfonic acid described in German Patent No. 141257.
