The subject of parent patent No. 15594 is a sinking roller for water structures with a core made of concrete mass and a shell enclosing it. The present additional patent relates to an improvement of this sinking roller, namely the same relates to the shell enclosing the boton core. In the case of the Sinli roller made known by the Stamm patent, the latter consists of an outer board jacket and an insert made of sackcloth adjoining this on the inside, and this cover is surrounded by collars arranged at a distance from one another.
According to the present invention, instead of this outer board jacket, a jacket made of coarse-meshed wire mesh, which surrounds the sackcloth insert, is used, thereby achieving the advantage that the individual sinking rollers nestle better against each other and a connection of the concrete cores of the rollers that meet one another as a result of the Burlap and the wire net mesh, concrete mass penetrating to the outside, whereby the resistance
