Verfahren zur Vermeidung von Gasverlusten bel Siemens-Regenerativöfen.
Die vorliegende Erfindung besteht in der weiteren Ausbildung des im Stamm-Patent Nr. 16721 beschriebenen Verfahrens zur Vermeidung der beim Reversieren eintretenden Gasverluste bei Siemens-Regenerativöfen. Das Verfahren besteht im wesentlichen darin, dass das in der Regeneratorkammer stehende Gas nach dem Absperren der Gaszufuhr und vor dem Reversieren zwecks Verbrennung durch Luft in den Ofen hinein verdrängt wird. Es ist insbesonders zur Vermeidung von Gasverlusten für die Umstouerungsvorhchtung nach dem System Forster geeignet (vergl. deutsche Patentschrift Nr. 137595).
