   Die vorliegende Erfindung hat den Zweck, bei   Glühlichtlampen   mit nach abwärts hängenden Glühkörpern eine Vorrichtung zu treffen, um das Herabfallen des ganzen Körpers bezw. von Teilen desselben zu verhindern und wird dies, wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich, in der Weise bewirkt, dass man um den   Glübkörper   einen Schutz-und Fangkorb a aus   feuerbestlindigem   Materiale in solcher Entfernung vom Glühkörper anordnet, dass beim Abreissen oder Beschädigen des   Glühkörpers   die abgerissenen Teile, vom Schutzkorb aufgefangen, im Bereiche der   Bunsenflamme   bleiben, so dass sie weiter glühen können, wodurch das vollständige   Verdunkeln   der beleuchteten Räume, beispielsweise der Eisenbahnwaggons, vermieden wird. 



   Der   Schutzkorb   dient nicht nur dazu, die abgerissenen Teile des   Glübkörpers   aufzufangen und zu halten, sondern auch zur Schonung des   Glühkörpers   beim Transport und bei der Hantierung (Anbringen des Glühkörpers und Anzünden der Lampe), indem der   Glühkörper   vor unmittelbarer Berührung geschützt ist. 



   Die Wirkungsweise der vorliegenden Anordnung des Fangkorbos bei Invertlampen unterscheidet sich wesentlich von jener der bekannten   Schutzkörbe   bei nach aufwärts gerichteten Glühlichtlampen.
