   Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines   Imprägnierungsmittels   für   Gummireifen   von Fahrrädern, Automobilen u. dgl. und besteht dasselbe darin, dass 60-70 Gewichtsteile   Birkenteoril   je nach der Konsistenz desselben, 28-38 Gewichtsteile Steinkohlenteerbenzin und 2 Gewichtsteile in Wasser aufgelöstes Dextrin innig gemischt werden, was durch energisches   Schuttein   des Gemenges erfolgt. 



   Das aus den bezeichneten Materialien in beschriebener Art gewonnene Imprägnierungmittel wird mittels eines Pinsels auf den Gummireifen aufgetragen und ist es hiebei vorteilhaft, den Reifen mit   mehreren     Schichten   desselben zu   bedecken, derart, dass nach dem   Trocknen der einen Schichte die nächste aufgetragen wird. 



   Das Imprägnierungsmittel verleiht dem Gummireifen grössere Dauerhaftigkeit und Widerstandsfähigkeit, schützt ihn egen Abnützung, grosse Kälte und Hitze, sowie vor der Zerstörung durch   Sonnenstrahlen,   Regenwasser und Schnec und endlich vor der bei langem,
