Process for purifying raw sugar by repeatedly recrystallizing the same.

The subject of the present invention is a process which allows raw sugar of any degree of purity to be treated quickly and cheaply with very little manual labor and in uninterrupted operations by recrystallizing repeatedly and systematically in an ever cleaner process, so that the greatest possible yield of completely white refined sugar is obtained is obtained, which can be brought into the usual way in bread, plate, stick or piece form.

This success is achieved by a special arrangement of apparatus, which is illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
 EMI1.1
 following battery.

The working method of the facility after the start of operation is as follows:
In the melting pan A of each battery is made by dissolving raw sugar
 EMI1.2
 to be led.

The thrown off raw sugar, on the other hand, is emptied into the vessel f, from which it is introduced through the elevator F into the melting pan A of the next battery, where it is recrystallized again in purer syrup and finally in water.

This working method closes. however, this does not preclude using the same procedure several times in each battery if this appears desirable. In any case, the sugar obtained in the last melting pan is almost white from the treatment in all the previous batteries. Now that it has been treated with pure water at last. is he going

an ever cleaner process, whereby a systematic cleaning is achieved.

Of course, as already mentioned, the number of batteries dr can be chosen arbitrarily and four batteries are shown in the drawing only as an example.

The above-described grouping and connection of the individual devices saves a great deal of work, since the simple opening of an outlet is sufficient to transfer the mass from one device to the other of a battery and the elevators and pumps as well as the individual devices are operated by the machine can be.
