Rost für Gaskochapparate.
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine besondere Ausbildung der Roste an Gaskoch. apparaten, bei welchen eine in allen Teilen gleichmässige Beheizung der Rastfläche selbst dann noch herbeigeführt wird, wenn der Rost aussergewöhnlich lang ist und der Kochapparat nur eine einzige Brennflamme bezw. einen einzigen Gasbrenner besitzt.
In der Zeichnung veranschaulicht : Fig. 1 den Längsschnitt eines mit teils geschlossener Heizplatte und teils mit Rost versehenen Kochapparates, Fig. 2 ist ein Grundriss von Fig. l, Fig. 3 ein Querschnitt von Fig. 2, Fig. 4 und 5 zeigen den Rost in grösserem Massstabe in Quer-und Längsschnitt. Fig. 6 zeigt den Grundriss einer rostartig gestalteten Heizplatte für zentrale Brenneranordnung.
Die Stäbe a des Rostes erhalten vorteilhaft U-förmigen Querschnitt (Fig. 3 und 4), jedoch kann auch jede andere Querschnittsform gewählt werden, welche innerhalb der Roststäbe Kanäle k zur Ableitung der Heizgase entstehen lässt. Damit die Gase auch tatschlich die Kanäle k durchziehen, ist Bedingung, dass die Gasabzugsöffnungen d an den dem Brenner d entferntesten Stellen des Rostes angeordnet werden. Bei dem in Fig. 1-3 dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel ist der Rost a hinter einer undurchbrochenen Kochplatte g angeordnet, wobei der Brenner sich unterhalb de ! Kochplatte g befindet, so dass die Heizgase erst auf ihrem Wege nach dem Abzug d den Rost bespülen, wobei dieselben in die Kanäle k eintreten und von diesen zur vollständigen Beheizung des Rostes a nach d ge- leitet werden.
Ein angemessener Teil der Heizgase tritt über die unteren Kanten der hohl- gestalteten Roststäbe a durch die Spalte s uud gelangt von da über die Heizfläche des
Apparates und umspült alsdann die aufgestellten Kochgefässe. Wird der Rost a so am
Kochapparat angebracht, dass sich der Brenner b unter der Mitte des ersteren befindet, so sind die Roststäbe, wie aus Fig. 6 ersichtlich, strahlenförmig von der Mitte nach aussen führend, anzuordnen.

The bars a of the grate advantageously have a U-shaped cross-section (FIGS. 3 and 4), but any other cross-sectional shape can also be selected which allows channels k to be created within the grate bars for discharging the heating gases. In order for the gases to actually pass through the channels k, it is a condition that the gas outlet openings d are arranged at the points of the grate furthest away from the burner d. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1-3, the grate a is arranged behind an uninterrupted hotplate g, with the burner below de! Hotplate g is located, so that the heating gases rinse the grate only on their way to the vent d, the same entering the channels k and being passed from these for complete heating of the grate a to d.
