Door bolt separate from the door lock
The subject of the invention is a door bolt separate from the door lock, which automatically enters the locked position when the door is closed and is brought back into the open position from the outside by locking the door lock, whereupon the door can only be opened after unlocking the door lock.
This is achieved in that the sliding bolt, which comes into the closed position under the action of a spring, with an extension protruding vertically from it, extends through a recess in the door frame or, in the case of double-leaf doors, through a recess in the normally fixed door leaf into the cavity provided there for the bolt of the door lock , so that when locking the door lock, its bolt hits the extension and takes it with it, whereby the door bolt comes into the open position, the head of which carries a leaf spring, which is supported on an abutment on the movable door leaf when the bolt is open and thereby the bolt in the
Holds open position so that the door can be opened after unlocking the door lock.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment, u. Between FIGS. 1 and 2 show the
Door bolt in locked and unlocked position with partial section in plan view and FIG. 3 shows a front view corresponding to FIG. 2.
The door leaf carrying the door lock is denoted by 1, opposite which, in the case of single-leaf doors, the door bolt is attached to the door frame 2 or, in the case of double-leaf doors, to the normally fixed door leaf.
This is designed as a sliding bolt 4 mounted within a housing 3, which is held in the advanced position, that is to say in the closed position, by a spring 5. The bolt head 4 a carries a perpendicular from it

the bolt 8 of the door lock provided cavity 9 and thus extends into its range of motion. When the door is closed, the head 4 a of the door bolt lies in front of a plate 10 inserted into the door edge (FIG. 1), so that the door can only be opened from the inside by pushing back the bolt 4 by means of the handle button 11 protruding from the housing 3 .
From the outside, the door

Locked position is brought, wherein it takes the extension 6 of the door bolt 4 and thereby pushes the latter back, the bolt head 4 a being withdrawn from the plate 70 (Fig. 2). The head 4 a carries on the front a leaf spring 12, which extends slightly beyond the front edge of the bolt head 4 a and is bent there to a shoulder 13, which is supported in the open position of the door bolt 4 against the plate 10 as an abutment and so the pushed back Latch 4 holds in this position. If door 1 is now unlocked, it can be opened without further ado.
The leaf spring 12 slides off the abutment 10 and the door bolt 4 is pushed forward by the spring 5. When the door is closed, the edge of the plate 10 pushes the bolt head 4 a back on its inclined surface 4 b and lifts the leaf spring 12 forward slightly so that when the door is closed, the plate 10 comes to rest between the leaf spring 12 and the bolt head 4 a (Fig. 1).
