Description

Fig. 1).

  Insulating pad for wet walls
The invention consists in that the known folded cardboard, which is factory-made in strips of 5 m length and 1 m width, is initially cut into smaller format panels, on which a mortar layer of plaster of paris, cement or the like is then applied on one side, as a result of which these panels are given a stiffness and strength similar to that of other building panels of greater thickness (see Fig. 1).

This factory-made combination - building board with folded board - saves the otherwise necessary asphalt coating of the gypsum or concrete slabs on the side adjacent to the wet wall and also the application of the coarse plaster on the construction site, which significantly reduces the cost of draining work in wet living quarters -and storage rooms.

As a result of the flexibility of the folded cardboard, the combined insulating panel can be cut through the mortar-like mass at a suitable point, e.g. B. according to line a in Fig. 2, parallel to the folds, can be bent downwards, which enables seamless cladding of external angles (Fig. 3).

If the penetration is carried out with a partial removal of the mortar, as indicated in Fig. 2 with the dotted line b, then the insulating plate can be bent to the opposite side (Fig. 4), which is advantageous when lining interior angles.

This innovation improves the insulating plate, which is protected in Austrian Patent No. 162077.
