   Das seitliche Spiel, das den einzelnen Matern gelassen werden muss, kann zwar ausserordentlich klein sein, aber da eine verhältnismässig grosse Zahl nebeneinander auf- gereiht ist, kann sich eine hieraus entstehende Ungenauigkeit von einem Ende einer Reihe bis zur anderen summieren und eine für die Praxis bereits störende Grösse annehmen und um'dieser Möglichkeit vorzubeugen, werden vorzugsweise an einer Seite des Rahmens gegenüber jeder Maternreihe kleine Federn 8 (Fig. 4) in entsprechende Bohrungen im
Rahmen eingesetzt, welche sämtliche Matern der betreffenden Reihe gegen die gegenüber- liegende   Rahmenwand     zusammendrücken   und dadurch das Spiel aufheben, ohne die Be-   weglichkeit   zu stören. 



   PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : 
1. Ein Maternkörper für   Letterngiessmaschinen-Matern,   welche in Schacbbrettordnung in einem Rahmen an Stäben aufgehängt sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zur Auf- nahme des Zentrierdornes   (5)   bestimmte konische Bohrung   (6)   bis unter   den Aufhängnngs-   punkt der   Mater hinuntergeführt   ist, zum Zwecke, ein Verkanten der Mater beim Ein- drücken des Zentrierdornes zu vermeiden.
